NEVER AGAIN So I went in this place to eat dinner on sunday with my boyfriend, there were two men - the one that I think it’s the cook was very nice, but the other one was CLEARLY very pissed because he wanted to go home soon and he was very rude and impolite. So: we go in at 20:30 and how you ALL can read (both on internet and on their door) sunday it closes at 22:00 we came in and the guy didn’t even say hi to us so WE say “what do we do we can sit?!” , he already is visibly annoyed that we didn’t take away but we wanted to eat there, after 3 minutes he comes and wants to take the order and when we say “just one more minute” he replies “in 30 minutes we closed so you have to hurry up” (that followed my reply of “no you don’t it’s written even on the door 22:00” “no it is not” “yes it is” ecc) Was it for me I would have gone in another restaurant and send him to a very nice place, but my boyfriend was very happy to eat Libanese so I took a deep breath and stayed. during the dinner he comes multiples time to ask if we finished and at 21:25 he brings the bill without us asking for it. at this point my boyfriend asked very calmly “is it like this that you treat all of your clients? you didn’t even ask if we wanted a dessert or other things” he started to say “no I have to close in 2 minutes” (again - we point out that it is written 22:00) and “yes yes sir as you like, it’s as you say” VISIBLY annoyed.
I just want to say that the other guy was so nice and when the other one went in another room he came to me and gave a little bag with two little desserts , i think to apologize for his colleague, and I really...
Read moreWonderful Experience at L Artisan Libanais Restaurant in Paris
I recently had the pleasure of dining at your restaurant, L Artisan Libanais on 12/07/2024 Friday, during my visit to Paris. I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the exceptional experience I had. From the moment I stepped inside, I was impressed by the warm and inviting ambiance. The decor, with its subtle Middle Eastern touches, transported me to another world. The soft lighting and comfortable seating made for a delightful dining environment. Now, let’s talk about the star of the show—the food! Your menu boasts an impressive array of Lebanese dishes, and I was eager to explore. The mezze platter was a revelation—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The hummus, tabbouleh, and falafel were all outstanding. Each bite felt like a celebration of authentic flavors. What truly stood out, though, was the impeccable service. Zaleh, one of your staff members, went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was memorable. His friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and genuine passion for the cuisine made us feel like honored guests. Please convey our heartfelt thanks to him. In summary, Le Lebanese is a hidden gem in Paris. It combines delectable food, a cozy atmosphere, and outstanding service. I will definitely recommend it to friends and family, and I look forward to...
Read moreI rarely write reviews, but this one is absolutely necessary. From the moment we arrived, the service was a disaster. The waiter was incredibly rude – maybe he was having a rough day, but that’s no excuse to take it out on customers.
We asked to change tables because the one we were given clearly wasn’t suitable for three people. The table we moved to was never cleaned – it was dirty and honestly disgusting. No one bothered to wipe it down the entire time we were there.
The food was just as disappointing. The meat was undercooked and tasted off – definitely not fresh, and certainly not enjoyable.
Worst of all, we were ignored the entire evening. The waiter barely acknowledged us after we sat down, and any request felt like a huge inconvenience for him.
There are so many great restaurants in Paris – this is definitely not one of...
