Everything was great apart from the service… Evening was splendid from the food and the ambiance. I love thé concept of seasonal chefs and an ever changing menu. Food was well done and reasonably priced, good selection of wine (not much, but I sensed that they’re are paying homage to independent wine cellars, which is amazing) Ambience is great, there’s alfresco, open and high ceilings for a casual and spring vibes. However the service was lacking.. in the beginning of the meal (after being served our entree which took a while after ordering our first bottle of wine) we were being told that the table we were at, have to be opened at 2130hour, at that point of time it was already close to 2030. We still had our mains and desserts. We cleared our entree rather quickly and waited for our mains, which arrived a while later. My problem towards the restaurant would be having a little faster service in our next course rather than rushing us at the end of the meal. I work in the food and beverage industry and I really dislike such behavior… sadly that was the negative of the night. Overall, I would suggest all to head there for a try once for the chef...

We’re American and the restaurant had quite a local feel so it was great that the staff was patient with us and were not rude about our poor French skills. Secondly, the food was amazing! The chef for this month was outstanding and really provided us with a look into his mind and the way he thinks about food. It was just the right balance between experimental and classic which we much appreciated. Finally, the ambiance of the restaurant is amazing. The indoor/outdoor vibe is unmatched! We were seated outside which had a very casual backyard feel. Smoking was allowed with dinner which was a plus. Additionally, the inside was fabulous as well with an all glass structure that mimics the outside with out the cold! A bonus, the décor is very aesthetically pleasing and tastefully done!
