My name is Robert. We ate dinner there on May 12th. This Morrocan restsurant amazing. Huge menu of appetizers, meals and desserts. The server, "Moo-Moo," was very attentive and gave excellent advice on food and wine. The desserts were other-worldly delicious. If you go, ask for the big tray of numerous desserts and take your pick. We coumd have made a meal of them. There are two female chefs in an open kitchen in the rear. They are amazing cooks but get little or no attention from customers even though they are responsible for incredible food. So, we went and met the two ladies. They were so gracious and appreciative thet we made the effort to meet them and express how incredible their food is. Their eyes lit up in happiness at our overture. We wish they could cook for us at home every night. I urge all patrons to meet these two female chefs (See photos in this review) on the way out after dining. Everyone, the owner, the bartender, and the two chefs were so superlative that we took photos with all of them, to help preserve our memories. As we did so, many remaining patrons in the restaurant started clapping their hands in celebration of the experience! It was so much fun and very rewarding.

This place is a gem of the 11th arrondissement! My wife and I arrived with a clear objective of three items: a tajine, a couscous, and pastilla. We were very satisfied! The pastilla was superb: perfectly crisp and light pastry on the outside and deliciously, finely seasoned chicken inside. We had the Tajine s'laxrif (one of the chicken tajines) and the Seksu s'iftaten n'uralmi (one of the lamb couscous). The sauces, couscous, and vegetables all balanced very well, and both the chicken and lamb were so, so tender! We also had excellent service and received our food quickly: 5-10 minutes for the pastilla, then the tajine and couscous about 10 minutes thereafter. We will definitely come back here the next time we are in Paris, and will make sure to save room for mint tea and dessert!

L’Homme Bleu is hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to, and definitely the best for Moroccan cuisine! The couscous was simply amazing—fluffy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The tagine was equally incredible, packed with rich flavors and tender meat that melts in your mouth. On top of the incredible food, the service was excellent. The staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Whether you’re a fan of Moroccan food or just looking to try something new, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s the best couscous and tagine I’ve ever had, not just in France, but anywhere in the world. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We had planned to eat at another restaurant, but they had no spaces, so we wandered into l'Homme Bleu, instead. We were so glad that we did!

The place is small but open to the street so it feels intimate but also spacious. The food was delicious: we always try to eat North African food when we are in Paris and this was right up there with the best we've had.

My wife had a delicious Tajine Djaj Lahlou: chicken with pear, almonds, cinnamon, orange blossom and onions, which arrived bubbling at the table. I had lamb and merguez with a delicious stew sauce and couscous: the lamb was perfectly cooked and was falling off the bone, while just thinking of it now makes me hungry again.

The service was brilliant and extremely friendly, and they were very careful that we were not inconvenienced by the demonstration that went past at the end of the meal. He was apologetic about his English skills but he in fact spoke very good English: far better than my French and I work for a French company! All in all, strongly recommended and I've added L'Homme Bleu to my rota of restaurants I like to visit when in...

My husband and I went here last night, as this restaurant was suggested to us for couscous. So glad we took the advice! The atmosphere and the food are wonderful. We were immediately welcomed into a cozy dining room where people were obviously enjoying themselves. There are so many tempting items on the menu, making it hard to choose, but our charming server recommended the tajines, so we opted for lamb with artichokes and chicken with lemon. The food arrived steaming hot, so give it a minute, if you can withstand the amazing aroma. Wow, both were delicious, served with a bowl of delicate couscous. Raja, the chef, is the queen of North African cuisine! We lingered over a tasty Moroccan wine, with no pressure to vacate. If you’re in Paris and searching for a special place with amazing food, this is...
