This place is magnificent. The oysters were amazingly fresh. I had skate for the first time in my life - it was cooked marvelously. The vegetables that came with it were shockingly good. My dinner partner had no time to talk with me because she was so busy devouring her turbot, which I was only able to taste once because she guarded it fiercely. Our desserts were cute and wonderful. Our server (whom I suspect is the owner) was accessible, friendly, informative - marvelous.
This place is that perfect mixture of informal and friendly atmosphere, with food that would be a credit to any restaurant with waiters in ties and tails.
