I’m really disappointed with this restaurant. We came here because we saw the buffet barbecue on Instagram — the kind where you cook the meat yourself — and that’s what we were excited to try.
When we got there, we looked at the buffet menu and ordered a few items, thinking they were part of the barbecue. Less than two minutes later, the staff told us that what we ordered wasn’t part of the buffet barbecue. We asked to cancel and change the order, but he said it was too late — even though it had just been a minute or two. That really confused us. Why couldn’t he cancel the order when the food wasn’t even on the table yet?
The food then came out really fast, and we felt like we were forced to eat something we didn’t even want. No one explained the menu clearly, and as first-time customers, we had no idea how things worked. That should’ve been the staff’s job.
In the end, we couldn’t finish the food — and were told we had to pay extra for what we didn’t eat. Honestly, none of it made sense. We didn’t get what we came for, and still had to pay more for something we didn’t want in the first place.
It was a frustrating experience and a total waste of time. We won’t be coming back. I really hope the restaurant improves its service and communication — especially for...
Read moreFrom outside the restaurant looks amazing and I was very tempted to come to dine inside but that was the worst Korean food restaurant I have ever tried. I was very happy to go that evening for my favorite dish bibimbap but what was served there was just terrible. Consistency of rice was like rubber, everything was tasteless even the fried egg on the top did not look like an egg but something scrambled. The dumplings I ordered as a starter were served in less than a minute and I know why. Those tasted like from some cheap foodtruck just deep-fried to be hot for serving.. The Korean tea i took was close to water just like the miso soup served with bibimbap. Please change your chef! Such a potential of a place is really wasted! - I do not recommend!
as a response to the owners comment: yes as a couple we went to your restaurant together - nothing...
Read moreNot really happy with this place. The food itself was a bit bland, I’ve eaten KBBQ around the world and this one was not up to standard. The marinated beef was the best dish though, I recommend it above all.
The kimchi fried rice and pancake both have cheese in it for some reason? We asked for them without and thankfully they accommodated, but it’s super weird that so much of their menu stuffs cheese into everything.
The servers were elsewhere the entire time, we had to hunt to get their attention. When the waitress arrived and asked us which pork we would like (either marinated or normal), I asked “Which do you recommend?”.
She gave me a blank stare… then said “Uh.. marinated or normal?”. I guess she didn’t have a response?
In the end, it’s expensive for what you get, and I don’t...
