I think that we found the worst owner ever that's why just 1 star.

Food was quite good, Price was quite fair, Service and waiters quite fine But when we had to manage with the owner... REALLY BAD.

Everything started with the waiter that knocked a candle over our jackets, it was an accident and he was really sorry, moreover he tried for more than 20 minutes to clean them (that are now ruined and we have to throw them into the rubbish) so we didn't want to complain with him.

The problem was the owner: Not a sorry, not a discount, nothing professional from him.

After this unpleasant situation, when they came with the bill, they told us that we had to pay in cash (173€) because the machine was not working today and that we could withdraw the cash in a near bank. I told them that they should advise us in advance because we don't have a French card and we have to pay bank commisions and the answer of the owner, with a really arrogant behaviour and talking just to the waiter instead of me, was to give us 5€ discount for the bank commisions.

After that they ruined our jackets and after that he didn't apologize (neither paied for the damage), he was really arrogant.

I don't care for bank commisions but I think that this is the worst behaviour I have never seen from someone in...

The most important thing I must say about this place is that we were warmly received and very well treated by the waitress, chief and manager. I am willing to say they were the most courteous so far. Price is OK for the region. Menu is the only thing that took one star out: they didn't have what I asked twice. Food was good too, but could be improved since the steak was tasting like it was made directly from the freeze, not fresh, however, the rest was very good. Don't expect a fancy environment: it is mostly a place for happy hours and Paris inhabitants to drink a coffee and smoke...

J'ai fêté mon anniversaire chez eux et c'était une belle erreur. Le plan initial que le gérant m'avais proposé était de commencer la soirée dans leur petite salle à côté de 20h à 00h puis de passer dans la grande salle pour danser de 00h à 5h. Quand minuit arrive le serveur me dit que la grande salle est remplie de gens qui dinent et boivent, qu'on est samedi soir et qu'il ne peut pas les virer comme ça. Le serveur met la faute sur le gérant qu'il lui m'avait pourtant dit mot pour mot pendant nos negociations qu'à minuit ils vireraient tout le monde pour nous laisser la place quand je lui avais demandé comment il ferait parce que j'avais anticipé ce problème.

A la rigueur la petite salle aurait pu convenir mais quand les gens ont commencé à payer, les prix ne correspondaient pas à ce qui m'avait été annoncé à l'oral quelques jours plus tôt. A ce moment-là le gérant a proposé deux solutions, soit accepter ces nouveaux prix, soit payer aux anciens prix mais quitter la soirée immédiatement. Il a ensuite commencé à dire que de toute manière il était 2h30 et qu'il devait fermer la petite salle par obligation légale (alors que si nous avions accepté les nouveaux tarifs nous aurions pu rester). lls ont fait semblant d'appeler la police 6 fois quand nous menacions de ne pas payer leurs nouveaux prix mais ne l'ont jamais vraiment fait.

Nous avons donc décidé de payer le prix annoncé de base oralement (que le gérant niait avoir annoncé) et de partir à 2h30. Il a donc dû appliquer une réduction à chaque paiement alors qu'il m'avait assuré de base ne rien pouvoir négocier avec moi niveau prix car tout était "informatisé" et qu'il n'avait absolument pas la main dessus.

Bref, tout ce qui les intéresse est leur chiffre, avec en prime un serveur...
