My cousin and I were staying in an Airbnb nearby and this came up as the closest Peruvian restaurant. We are both Peruvian and were craving some ceviche. So we figured we would give it a try.

We got here at 6:15 and the host/waitress informed us they don’t open for another 15 minutes but welcomed us to have a seat. She was very sweet and we chatted with her a bit about her family and story, where we are from, etc.

At 6:30 on the nose she came to take our orders. We shared ceviche, papa rellena, papa la huancaina, and lomo saltado.

The food was AMAZING! Ceviche was perfectly cooked (we are judgy about ceviche!) and the papa rellena was so crispy on the outside with the right about of filling. The lomo was tender and juicy. All of the flavors were perfect. The chef stepped outside for a moment to say hello to us and we showered him in compliments. He was so kind.

The only thing that was mid was the alfajor I ordered for dessert. It was fine. I bake them myself and I’m extra critical about these, so perhaps I’m not the best judge lol. What can I say? I make them better.

We loved this place and it felt like a home away from home. The atmosphere is nothing fancy - very casual place, but no complaints about that....

My friend and I visited this small but very pleasant restaurant on December 20, 2024. We were greeted very friendly and treated to the most delicious Peruvian dish we have ever eaten. We come from a country - Bulgaria, where there are almost no international restaurants, and Peruvian ones certainly are not in the entire country. Therefore, it was a great pleasure for us to be customers here. We highly recommend it to anyone who loves new culinary experiences and wants to enjoy deliciously...

I had my wonderful first taste of Peruvian cuisine here. The staff were very friendly and I could tell that they took special pride in their food. I had the fried cassava and ceviche, which were both to die for. The restaurant was also full of spanish speakers, which probably alludes to the authenticity of the food. C'est top!
