A nice recent discovery. It is an art gallery/cafe/bookstore in a lively part of Paris. The interior is perfect for exhibitions and the choice of books in the bookstore is impressive. Nous sommes passés au Bal café un samedi midi pour le brunch. L'endroit n'était ni trop bondé ni vide.

Ce " café " (qui fait restaurant, bar à vins...) est niché en face d'un parc et dispose d'une terrasse. Il est situé dans l'entrée du bâtiment, sur la droite.

La clientèle avait l'air de savoir où elle allait et pourquoi elle venait ici : le Bal café, pour ceux qui savent.

Le comptoir est magnifique, avec un super bouquet et d'appétissants desserts. On peut y manger.

Les tables sont quelconques, le service est de bonne qualité.

Pour un prix correct pour Paris, mais en ligne avec le quartier, nous avons commandé notre brunch : un thé d'hiver miel-gingembre-citron (le citron était vraiment trop amer, c'était spécial) et pour moi, une assiette avec bacon, tomates, scones, œufs, pain et beurre : très correct. Nous avons partagé un dessert qui était très bon. Mon copain a pris le Welsh rarebit à la Guiness qui était très réussi. Nous nous en sommes tirés pour à peu près 20 euros par personne.
