I have stayed at this hotel for three nights via AGODA. I just left a review on AGODA however, the review wasn't posted besides my another two 3-star hotels reviews which were great and better service than this hotel. First, the main pic of this hotel on AGODA was not the hotel building, it was the national music academy building. The main pic confused us to choose the hotel so I have asked to the reception staff but they said they do not know why AGODA has put the pic there. Please take that main pic out and put real the hotel building pic. There are a lot homeless tents around the hotel actually. Secondly, I have requested a twin bed room with higher floor, even walked in, to the hotel to request 3days before check in and checked the room as we were staying nearby. However, the day we have checked-in, we came earlier than check-in time so left our lugguge then came back around 10 pm. The night shift staff gave us 4th floor twin room with extra folding bed so less spacious. It was different from the room pic also the shower head was not connected with the cable. I have rang the reception and explained the shower situation but the female staff did not understand ENG very well so I asked to come to check but she said I should come to the reception. So I went with the pic then the tall black female staff asked me I have disconnceted that or not. Speechless. I had to show the pic in the end and talked to another male staff. I have requested to change the room, got 2nd floor as it was the last room as twin. The window was in front of tress so no lights at all. So requested again to change with light window but the male staff said he is not sure it can be changed or not. The female black staff was really rude and the guy staff was ok but not helpful actually. Finally, we were able to change the room next day with another female staff to the 7th floor with the room we saw, no extra folding bed so more space. I do not remember her name exactly, I think "Channy" not sure, but thanks a lot to her.She made our stay at the hotel in the end. The night shift staff, tall black female staff called Laura Fall was the rudest and not quite trained to communicate with customers, it was the most ridiculous experience in my entire travel history. Lastly, there was no complimentary water(bcz of their policy, but had that water in 3-star hotels), no robe and no sleepers even though it is 4-star hotel. We stayed 3-star hotel before, it was much better service and amenities. I just talked to AGODA customer service and AGODA said the hotel itself can sensor and remove the reviews. also the main pic as well, only the hotel provide so it wasn't AGODA's system. I cannot trust AGODA neither as a trusted global platform allowed this system with low score reviews. It should be transparent as loads of people visit Paris and will visit this hotel. Tacky interior and old building is not a problem, we could understand that but cannot be accepted "RUDE" and "WRONG INFOMATION".

We traveled with a group of about 43 people as part of a tour. We were only staying two nights. We had a triple which you really can’t call it that, since there were only two beds and a pullout couch which did not compare to the beds. My son graciously volunteered to take the couch but it only had one very flat pillow. Not only were they flat but they were largely square. So when you lie on them your lower back is on the bottom of the pillow in an awkward elevated position. I went to the front desk to ask for a pillow she said she couldn’t give out extra pillows. I said its not an extra pillow. There are 3 beds and only 5 pillows. The pullout couch only has one pillow. She said we only give one pillow for the pullout couch. I went round and round with her for a few minutes. She finally reluctantly agreed to call housekeeping but couldn’t “promise” me anything. She hung up with housekeeping and said they will bring the pillow up while loudly dropping the phone on the counter as if annoyed. Needless to say the pillow never came despite asking two more times. The last person we talked to said they cannot provide an extra pillow. I have traveled for two weeks with this tour company and a lot of the hotels have pullout couches or cots as the third bed. Anytime I asked for an extra pillow in the other hotels it was immediately brought to us. Its bad enough to not have to sleep in a bed for two weeks while traveling but then to have a bad pillow! Simply unacceptable. This hotel needs to do better. Also the A/c in our room was set to 10 celcius and it was still warm in our room. A/C was not working well at all. So I gave my son one of my pillows and slept on one very flat pillow. I woke up with a pulled muscle in my neck and lower back the next morning. I will never stay at this hotel again.

I just can’t bring myself to like this hotel. It was a last minute booking, but I would not recommend it to others.

Positives…it is in an ok location, our room size just about worked for us (king size bed and single futon for my 6 year old), we had breakfast included in the rate (there was a wide selection, but it was all pretty average). I did appreciate the fact that my email prior to arrival was read and my requests were noted (higher floor, little birthday surprises), but I never actually received a response so I had no idea until we arrived. I did like the fridge and safe in the room, lots of electrical outlets. We never heard other guests and that lifts were super sonic! No complaints about the staff.

The price we paid for 5 nights was astronomical! I can only hope the price was inflated because of the Rugby World Cup, which we were not in Paris to enjoy on this occasion. Perhaps the following wouldn’t have bothered me so much if the price had been more reasonable.

It is meant to be a 4 star hotel, but I would give it a 3 star at best. They have had constant complaints about air conditioning (and it was useless) and yet when we asked for a fan to help they told me they didn’t even have fans to offer. We were lucky the weather was a bit cooler, so we could open the windows, but we were still hot. It was a fight to get a couple of extra pillows! They preferred to turn the sheets over rather than give us clean sheets when my kid last day chocolate stain. The bed made a clunking sound every time I got on it. All the soaps et cetera were pinned to the wall which made it impossible for my child to reach when he tried to wash his hands. Towels were restricted, very small and thin. Shower of course soaked the floor every time we used it. Hairdryer was from the dark ages. The toilet was separated from the bathroom but it was so small and dark that it actually made me feel quite claustrophobic. Dirty dishes and empty toilet rolls were left. A non valuable item was removed from our room and although we called to report it and have it returned, there was no further communication...

I was part of a large group- 33 of us total. We checked in and 4 of the rooms were not ready at 4:30pm. They knew for several weeks, if not months we were coming. I’m unsure WHY rooms were not already assigned and waiting for us. The first room I was given was occupied. We left for an afternoon tour and dinner. When we came back at 9:30pm we got an other room. It too was occupied by baggage and personal belongings. I felt uncomfortable even staying at this hotel as I had been in 2 rooms that were occupied. I had no security they wouldn’t assign my room to others the three days we were staying. We finally received a room that was no occupied by other guests. It was clean, but not quiet. We had breakfast included with our room. However, we were refused breakfast the first two mornings as our room number didn’t match the room they had us assigned to. We were told $20 per person to eat. We were NOT going to pay an extra $40 day to eat the breakfast that was powder eggs. We ate at nearby bakery the first day and restaurant the second day. After speak to management on the second day, we were assured we would get breakfast the third day which we did. However, they never paid us back for the first 2 day we were to get breakfast and were refused it. 🫤. Loved the water bar, we had lots of empty bottles we filled each day . We were told by management they were sorry about our room mess up and would be given macaroons upon our return to the hotel that evening. We were excited for that. However, instead we received chocolate cover macadamia nuts. We are allergic to nuts and couldn’t eat them. Macaroons were what we thought we were getting. All so unfortunate- I don’t recommend the hotel. It very old and needs a facelift badly. Staff was kind, helpful with the exception of the check in guy who yelled at my son and assign us to rooms that were occupied and the rude breakfast crew who told us we didn’t pay & couldn’t eat when we did. She refused us service the first 2 days, but we were told by others in our party they had powdered eggs and poor breakfast for...
