Le Chalet — Restaurant in Paris

Me and my partner went here on our first night in Paris, food was amazing but we didn’t feel very welcome there, one waiter spoke English and came over and helped us which was lovely. We decided to give it another chance on our last night and never felt more disrespected. It took about 20 minutes for us to get a menu and another 20 to actually order, the waiters were horrible and clearly did NOT want to serve us. It seemed like an older audience here so maybe they thought me and my partner did not ‘fit in’ as were in our 20’s. It’s a shame because the food is amazing and the place is beautiful, but I will certainly not...

We came late (around 930pm) after arriving in Paris. Our children were starving and exhausted. Our waiter was excellent and interacted effectively with one of my sons who was not on his best behavior. The food was delicious. We ordered the crispy chicken burger and the detox salad. This is a classic roadside restaurant and we loved it for that! It was sunny day in April so we sat outside. And yes it’s quite a busy road and the pavement is narrow, but it just didn’t seem to matter. Much friendlier service than one expects at a place like this. Ditto the food - above expectations - perhaps because it’s in an upmarket residential area with repeat customers. Good...
