After an amazing first stay at Plaza Tour Eiffel back in May, it was my immediate go-to choice for a spontaneous trip to Paris we took to celebrate my mother's 60th Birthday.||I absolutely fell in love with the Trocadero area during our first stay, and the hotel's proximity to the Metro and other major points of interest make it an ideal location for first time Paris visitors, and returning guests alike. ||From the moment we arrived, we immediately felt like we were back at home - both in terms of comfort and coziness of the hotel, but the friendly staff who always go above and beyond the make stays exceptionally pleasant. ||The rooms are beautifully adorned, and the L'Occitane welcome amenities left on the bed are always a nice touch, in tandem with the local chocolate bar. I'm a sucker for Grown Alchemist, so having those bathroom amenities is always appreciated, and really helps convey that this is a premium, luxury property! ||One lovely feature we got to partake in was the daily wine happy hour the hotel offers - what an absolutely lovely way to showcase local wines and notable French products. We were lucky that during our stay the wine on offer was Rose from Provence, which is absolutely one of my favorites, and the lobby of the hotel is the perfect environment to enjoy a glass, mingle with other guests, and then explore the area for a nice dinner.||I especially must give credit to General Manager, Annabelle, who went above and beyond to make sure that my mom's 60th was one for the memory books. She and her team took it upon themselves to decorate her room, place a chilled bottle of prosecco, and leave the kindest note wishing her an enjoyable stay and stellar 60th. To see how that gesture touched my mom so dearly when she walked in and started to get teary eyed was so impactful, and reaffirmed why I chose Plaza Tour Eiffel to celebrate this milestone. It's the little things in life, and this touch was critical for us determining that Plaza Tour Eiffel will be our absolute go-to when we return to Paris from this point forward. ||For anyone debating to stay here -- DO IT. Plaza Tour Eiffel is a boutique hotel that prides themselves in making each guest's stay memorable, and takes it upon themselves to go above and beyond where able, and offer extra amenities and benefits that the majority of other hotels don't bother to. ||I'm already looking forward to returning in the near future, and again, a huge thank you Annabelle for making my mom's 60th birthday celebration one that we'll be thinking of fondly for...
Read moreFrom the moment we walked into the hotel, my wife and I were treated great!!!! We met the manager, Kiran, as he immediately greeted and welcomed us and introduced us to France. This was our first time Europe! He was so kind and personal. He took real interest in us as individuals and not just as customers!! My wife has severe Celiac Disease and she can not come into any contact with gluten. She had emailed the hotel about her condition before we arrived and Kiran not only knew about my wife's condition, he had informed his staff and made sure my wife had all of her nutrition needs met and made sure there was absolutely no cross contamination of her food. Speaking of the food (breakfast was included), the breakfast was out of this world!!! They served the highest quality of food!!! The food was fresh, abundant, presented perfectly and was filled with many options. My wife is a Licensed Dietician / Nutritionist and a Chef. She knows what it takes to provide high quality food and this was it!!! Kiran and his staff made our time in Paris fun and productive because they answered all of our questions about negotiating travel around Paris, choices of excellent restaurants and sites. My wife had been studying French and wanted to use it as much as possible. Kiran, though very bilingual in French and in English, spoke slowly and clearly to my wife in French. My wife clearly understood him in French. Kiran had patience, kindness and a warm smile that lights up the room. He and his staff made calls for us, when needed, to make reservations. Our room was smaller (as compared to US Hotels) but it was big enough for us and was very clean and inviting. They left us some chocolates in our room upon arrival and when we brought to Kiran, he read the small print on the label and he saw that the chocolate was made in a factory that may had gluten in it. He took the box of chocolates and said "I will have a nice bottle fo French wine for you shortly" and he did. I could go on and on. Lastly, the hotel is a located within a 4 -5 min very safe walk (even at night) to the Metro and 8min walk to the Eiffel Tower. I highly recommend Plaza Tour Eiffel Hotel!!! You will not be...
Read moreIts a good or bad choice depending on your priorities. The staff is very friendly and willing to help, they are very nice... The hotel is clean and so are the rooms, what I liked the most was the location. On the other hand... there are many inconvenient things about the rooms. In our case there was a water leak from the sink and from the shower so everytime we used the bathroom it was wet all over the place. Also, the shower space was a very small bathtub and since the bathroom is small it was not practical to get in. For elder people or with reduced mobility i would not recommend, for the risk of fall. The mini bar fridge didn't work at all, it wasn't cold, not even chilly. The air conditioning system was very bad you either had to turn it off or it would always auto adjust freezing cold at 18 C• . The tv was not "smart" you have to use chromeast, which would do the job so that was ok. Also, they only give you two 250 ml cans of water and if you need more they charge you. I found this ridiculous because we payed a high tariff (at least from my point of view). The housekeeping is ok, they made the bathroom clean but never changed the sheets or the glasses we used to drink water. By our 4th day they were all dirty but wouldn't replace them for clean ones. The hotel feels like a safe space, what I really like os that from 6-7 the kind staff organices a happy hour and give you a free glass of wine (very very good selection of tasty wine)
So... it has its bad and good things but mostly not very...
