Le Chambertin — Restaurant in Paris

The breakfast package is 4.5euro. I bought two and should pay 9 euro. But they charged 11.40 euro. Always double-check your receipt — this feels less like a mistake and more like a pattern. Be very careful — this place is shady.

When I tried to correct them, they told me it’s extra charge for takeaway, which doesn’t make any sense. I said shouldn’t eat-in cost more? Then they again changed the reason, saying they gave me two free bread but I only got the two packages I ordered. I was still trying to understand the reason behind the extra charge but the waiter rudely threw at me two euros and didn’t respond anymore.

Rude services, shady business. Tourists should always be careful with them. There are plenty of friendly cafe around the corners. Don’t go...

We haven’t had food in this restaurant, but if you are here to use their “lockers” think twice and try to find another place around. The staff wasn’t nice and helpful, felt like we were really not welcome. First, we couldn’t book the time we needed and booked half an hour later and they said to wait strictly until that time(reminding that they take the price for the whole day no matter how long do you leave the luggage for). They couldn’t help us with english too, not even basics. The “locker” is just a corner(not even a room) in their restaurant. when leaving we saw the main woman throwing backpacks around to the floor and one oj another because all the baggage didn’t fit to their corner. Some of the head pillows were on the floor and backpacks...

Terrible experience. I don't think I have had a most unpleasant waiter in a long time. Years maybe! For real, but why a café restaurant would have someone like this serving tables??!! Not a smile, I guess he was bothered that it took us 5 minutes to choose from the menu? Or maybe since it was 14h and our table was 1/2 in the sun we asked to move to another table in the shade. ( I clarify, there were only 3 tables with people, the rest empty, and we had only napkins in our table) so to move to another one was not a big deal. Or maybe he was just in a bad mood because he had to work this Friday? Which ever reason, too bad for him he looks unhappy. And of countless we are not coming back...
