One of the best meals of our trip! Le Chasseen is around the corner from our vacation rental, so we ended up there around 5:30pm on our first day, hungry and tired. The waiter was very kind and took care of us, and the meal we had was outstanding--just what I've come to expect from French cooking at it's best. The dish I had would have been worth it for just the vegetables, they were so flavorful. The waiter could tell we weren't locals, so later in the meal he stopped by and asked us where we were from. Read moreLe Chasséen was an absolute delight from start to finish. A group of eight of us settled in for a leisurely evening and were never once rushed — instead, we were treated to warm hospitality and exceptional service by our wonderful waiter, who made us feel right at home.

The owner could sense our confusion looking at the menu posted outside and offered to translate for us, which was so helpful. The food was fantastic: seasonal fresh dishes (we had the scallops and the lamb) prepared with a fine dining finish, that were paired with a great wine that went great with both.
