Le Napoléon — Restaurant in Paris

We had searched all over the square and also down the Main Street searching for a place for the full French experience. After six days we have had a lot of wonderful food but had not quite found why French cuisine is what it is known for. We were about to settle on another place when my wife pointed across the square to a corner place saying we have not looked at that menu. Why not. The moment we walked up we saw the dish she had been looking for. And while reading the board we were greeted by a person who explained the mission of their place. To provide a genuine French experience with some dishes typically left for home gatherings, not restaurants. Sold. The service was impeccable and food was even better. Come to find out we’re were taken care of by the owner and we had some good conversation about our respective countries. Great corner location. great place to sit of a night and watch the world go by. Went there are few times whilst in Paris in Sept 17. Great breakfast that the whole family loved and still talk about. It’s a nice place but the service was terrible. The waiter was rude and annoyed with us. He also ignored us a lot. Seemed like he was nice to the French people but not the tourists. It was out last dinner in Paris and he ruined it. The dinner and wine were delicious. Honestly, I would recommend to find a different restaurant. So...
