Le Petit Cambodge — Restaurant in Paris

Blonde hair waitress working on June 25 should lose her job. I waited for 15 minutes to be spoken to.36 degrees I needed water so I went inside and asked for a bottle of water, my boyfriend was running late so I planned to order for him. Fifteen minutes after I asked and when my boyfriend arrived, still no water or no one speaking to me. I went inside and politely asked for a cup of water from the bartender who was very kind and gave me one. When the waitress noticed she got very upset. She followed me back to my table and said “people are waiting for two for the terrasse, you’re alone, you should leave” not only had I been sat there by her coworker, but I was a table of two, prepared to order for two. Only being kind. Maybe they are understaffed- but this waitress made me leave , screamed at me “au revoir” in front of everyone. Please note I did not raise my voice one time. I come here often, never again. She chased me out of the restaurant. UPDATE I was seated by your staff- I waited in the line they were aware I was waiting for someone, your employee is lying to you to try and justify her malicious behaviour. She rudely told me to leave, I didnt feel unwelcome, I was forced out of your establishment by your staff in a harsh, aggressive way. I love your food, love that you stay open after the horrible fortune, but I cannot support a place that keeps employees who harass customers with no repercussions, a place where your staff made me feel unsafe...

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Le Petit Cambodge. To start, we had to wait over an hour for both our food and drinks, which was frustrating enough, but it only got worse from there. The restaurant was severely understaffed, and we felt completely ignored by the staff.

I had ordered a vegetarian dish as I don’t eat meat, but when my food arrived, it looked like beef. I mentioned my concern to the waitress, who insisted that it was indeed vegetarian. However, after tasting it, I realized that it was meat. When I raised this with the staff, it was underwhelming to say the least. I had to ask for the manager, but the conversation was unhelpful. Instead of an apology or any recognition of the mistake, the manager simply blamed the new female waitress, who had only been working there for a day.

After much insistence, I was not charged for my meal, but they still insisted on charging me for the drink. This lack of accountability and poor service left a bad taste. The service was the worst I ever had. Thank you so much for destroying our Saturday lunch. We had to wait for 40min for a main dish while other people who came after us were enjoying their main dishes. When I kindly asked a waitress if our plates were coming, she replied “it’s in the kitchen!” It was such an attitude. I was going to reply, Ah strange, I thought our plates were in the toilets.
