Food hit the spot but it felt a bit too fast foody for Paris. We had a Nachos for starters to share which was good, not your typical TexMex Nachos, the guac and cheese were abundant I must say which was nice. However, the “cheddar” in their description comes in a liquid form which was a bit weird I must say, it was the same in the cheeseburger. Have a look at the pictures. Then for main, I had a Vegetarian Hot Dog which came with BeyondMeat Sausage which leans towards vegan but actually then they added all the liquid cheddar so it’s just vegetarian which is a shame. However we were very hungry so this still hit the spot as it was comfort food. I thought it was a bit expensive but I guess normal for Paris. We paid €68 for two including two beers and tip. One thing that bothered me was the size of the plates, way too small for all the food on the plate.
Staff aka the 1 waiter on duty was extremely friendly and attentive, always bringing us what we asked for immediately....
Read moreAfter spending literally a day here as I drank a ridiculous amount of a splendid rose and read TWO books, I cannot cannot recommend this cafe enough. Whether it’s a short stop for a glass of wine or a cup of espresso or a whole day “park yourself in place and test just now permissible Parisian cafe culture is,” this is THE place to come to. No seriously, I’m on hour six of sitting here, and after a week in Paris, this American knows where she is welcome to sit and drink and read and write for as long as she wants versus where she is tolerated. Come here and feel like you are just as Parisian as everyone rushing by you—and the management could not be more welcoming to us whose French is horrendous but adore this city. Absolutely the best cafe I’ve Ben it...
Read moreThe food is average. My pancakes were dry, they should serve the maple syrup on the side. When I asked for more I was told it was an extra 2 euros. The service is bad (servers were arguing in front of us, presented the milk options for iced latte but failed to mention that the oat milk was an extra 0.50cts, which isn’t a lot but it clearly shows a lack of ethics). Overall, I don’t recommend this place. There are nicer places with better food and nicer staff.
