Paris Bar Recommendations! Stunning Night Views 🥂 (Part 1)

We stayed one night for a quick 2 day trip from London. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the overall experience was excellent from the moment the driver pulled up the car at the main entry of the hotel. Very prime location in the city centre far away from all the tourist chaos and a short drive to and from Eurostar station. We were greeted so warmly upon arrival and our luggage was taken off from the car. Check-in was smooth but our room was not ready when we got here after 13:30 so we enjoyed a bottle of champagne in the hotel bar area. The room was very spacious and well equipped with amenities required for the stay. We always enjoy the standing shower and toilet in a separate room. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The view from the terrace was great. WiFi was in great signal. Excellent service overall but a bottle of champagne from minibar was overcharged after we settled the bill although it was reimbursed on the spot. It's a bit let down because I was very honest and highlighted this at check out with the front desk lady but it has already been included in the final bill by the room service team. The lady who checked us out should have gone through the bill herself before deciding to charge my amex again for the bottle we consumed from the room. Luckily to Amex notification which I realised when we came to the hotel to collect our luggage before heading back to the station. My best advice here is always checking the bill and ensuring the electronic receipt was sent to you which she didn't at first.

Dear sir/Madame|This has to be one of the worst experiences I have had in a hotel for a long time .|You have a real issue with serving a breakfast|Day 1|The first morning I left a card on the door and ordered breakfast for 10 am|At 1006 I called. And said I had not received breakfast|At 1009 I was called back and was told it was in the way |I called again at 1015 1020 and 1025 , it arrived at 1027 with a sullen waiter who was unapologetic and just delivered it to the room.||That evening you sent a bottle of champagne and called and said that the breakfast would not be charged and also the drinks in the roof the previous evening would not be charged ||Day 2|I didn’t trust room service and had little time so we came in to order an iced coffee and breakfast to go |I walked to the bar and and ordered an iced americano , the lady then rudely told me to give my room number to the lady at the service station and please take a seat ( no good morning )|She then came to see me , she did not say good morning or anything . I told her we were in a hurry and wanted just 1 cheese baguette to take away and one iced americano .|She told me that I had to order from a breakfast menu as the cheese was not included . I told her I was in a hurry as we had to leave .I then asked her for a baguette with an omelette in it . She then repeated that we wanted pastries and an omelette. |At this point I just gave up and left .|She was surly in attitude and aggressive , impolite and should not work in the service industry . She clearly has a problem as do all of your staff .|Never a smile or a good morning , always very sad and without a good demeanor .|You have a serious culture issue .|A customer who has 2 breakfasts included ( I paid the extra ) and only orders 1 sandwich to take away and a coffee and is told he has to pay more and to be treated like a child at school is not what I expect .|I was the only person at breakfast , there were 4 members of staff and to be treated so insolently .|I own 2 luxury hotels . We have Forbes 5 star rating and great service training . I would suggest you take some service training and get your general manager to seriously discuss service culture |I will obviously never come back to your hotel and you ruined my day and stay twice .You may have given a bottle of champagne to make up for things but the way you dealt with me the next morning showed that you really do not care one iota and think that you can just pay...

That evening you sent a bottle of champagne and called my girlfriend and said that the breakfast would not be charged and also the drinks in the roof the previous evening would not be charged

Day 2 I didn’t trust room service and had little time so we came in to order an iced coffee and breakfast to go I walked to the bar and and ordered an iced americano , the lady then rudely told me to give my room number to the lady at the service station and please take a seat ( no good morning ) She then came to see me , she did not say good morning or anything . I was the only person at breakfast , there were 4 members of staff and was treated insolently . Also your room has issues as the toilet is separate and you do not put a sink on the room to wash hands . You put no welcome amenity in a room that costs 1240 a night and your toiletries are poor .

I will obviously never come back to your hotel and you ruined my day and...

Location: I loved it, close to Louvre, Museé de la Bourse,…|Only thing I found strange, was the entrance. It was very small and all very limited in space.|Personally, if I would have designed the hotel, I would have sacrificed the first glass door of The Kitchen, and make an entrance there. Then you have a real ‘grand entrée’ like one is used to in a 5star hotel.||Breakfast: good, breakfast is served at the table, so no buffet. I personally like it, cause otherwise I overeat anyway :-)))||Rooms: All rooms are on 3rd floor. It can be quite a walk from the elevator. I was a single traveler, so room was perfect for me. For 2 I think the wardrobe is way too small, but then again: there isn’t a single hotel in Paris with a wardrobe for 2.||The Kitchen: had dinner here last Tuesday, March 4th. Very nice quality, love the atmosphere of the place.||La Plume: had dinner here on Monday 3rd of March and again on Wednesday the 5th. On Monday, I had the most wonderful, verrrrrrryyyyy handsome and helpful waiter (I think his name was Julien, but I got lost in his eyes, so it could have been a completely different name). Had an excellent salad as starter and then the duck. That duck was soooo good, that I came back two nights later. |So on Wednesday, it must have been my lucky week, cause the waiter that helped me then was even more breathtaking. The curly hear, the cute little moustache, the sparkling eyes and the amazing smile…. Being gay is a hard life sometimes ;-). I had the Wagyu as starter and then the duck again. Again amazing!||I don’t get how they find this absolutely handsome AND friendly staff! Whoever is in charge of HR: give that person a raise. |One often finds hotels where the staff is smoking hot, but then they hardly know the difference between red and white wine. |Here, they are pro’s AND looking amazing|AND kind! It’s a quality so far I have only experienced at the Mandarin hotels (also very handsome staff, and friendly, and professional) but now I know Madame Rêve has the same...
