( I'm a native French speaker ) , this is today my second time in that place. My first was to get a pizza to have in, was actually very nice ( one with 'Truffe' mushrooms. My second, just this noon, was to get a beloved dish: the 'Brucheta Siciliana'. On the menu it is written tomato, melted mozzarella, parmesan on a country bread slice ... After a we ve been waited for a while, dishes arrive. I was facing a mere white toast on which were the tomatoes diced, with parmesan around and that was it despite the regular rocket salad as decoration. No regular and basis melted mozzarella at all and no crunchy French country bread. I then ask if it was supposed to be serve as it was cause the menu was saying something else and I was not eating that 10 euros dish without what it was suppose to be on my plate ! They say they will change .. When my friend finished her dish I was still waiting to be surved what I red. I finally got ' what was written on the menu ' not that famous at all. ( picture of the Brucheta ) . To finally set my mind on this lunch I decided to get a 'Tiramisú Tradizionel' ( 8 euros / second picture) : the setting is nice, the portion is quite small .. The taste is, for the creamy part, tasteless ... I sincerely do not recommend this restaurant for this typical Italian dish and desert. For the pizzas that is good. That is why those three stars, without a first visit taking a pizza I would have put 2 stars.

We went to the restaurant after seeing high ratings on google, but only after we found out after sitting in the restaurant that, they are asking each and every table to write the review in front of them as soon as they finish the food, that’s how they have higher number of ratings and reviews. Don’t get trapped. We ordered Pizza and Veggie starter with Burrata. Pizza was great, I can’t deny that. However, the in the grilled Burrata starter, while eating my husband got big piece of charcoal in his mouth, he crushed it between his teeth while eating, he has to run to the washroom to spit the entire thing out. When we confront this to the staff they behaved like nothing happened. The waiter didn’t even dare to come back to our table for the bill. Though one lady came to ask us to write reviews, who was called back by the waiter who served us. Another waiter came with the bill and even he was rude with my husband when my husband confronted this issue. Will never go back to this restaurant in our next visit. I hope they treat people gently.

After reading all these great reviews, we were really excited to go and visit this restaurant, however, were quite disappointed.

For starters we ordered the fried burrata with tomato sauce, the sauce tasted great, but the burrata was really cold even though it's supposed to be served at a room temperature. We also got the rosemary bread to go with it which was actually really nice with the tomato sauce!

For main I had pappardelle alla bolognese, which tasted just meaty, I couldn't really taste anything else, but the pasta was smooth and fresh.

At least the portions were quite big.

Staff was okay, spoke English, however service was really slow. Felt like we were being ignored and when we were trying to catch the attention of the staff to ask for the bill, it seemed impossible. Even though it was very busy as it was Sunday night, they just stood there and chatted to each other instead of cheking to see if anyone...
