Sooo good!!!
Let me preface this by saying I don’t speak French 😂😂😂. Oh! And in case you don’t either, the chef speaks English and is super nice!
I’ve gone several times in the past few days…
The Burrata is so amazing! (It comes with pork, but I let her know that I don’t eat pork and she put tomatoes in there instead)
The Ragout de Poulet (Chicken dish) is super delicious (but kinda oiley so don’t get if you’re looking for something on the lighter side)
The brochettes de boeuf (beef on a stick). They didn’t ask how well I wanted it and it came out medium to medium rare. A little less than I would normally like it, but still really good! And that chimmicuri! Soo good! Definitely look up different levels of cooking and let them know how you want it if you like it a certain way.
Was so freaking good, that I went back the next day and got:
Les ravioles - some sort of tiny cheese filled ravioli in a cheese sauce. It’s definitely more authentic French cheese than I’m used to, but after the initial surprise (that cheese could actually have a flavor besides provolone, cheddar, and blue) lol, I enjoyed this dish immensely.
The Pavé de liu (I think I spelled that correctly) idk what on earth this means but it’s a delicious thick medium cooked white fish on top of like amazingly seasoned mashed sweet potato mixed with idk what (again, don’t speak French lol). Some sautéed egg plant on top of the fish for an extra touch of flavor = magnificent.
And the prices cheap too! The most expensive thing is $15 and there are a bunch around 7-10.
All in all, I’m probably going to get food to go (á exporter) today and have a picnic in the park. Would most definitely recommend if you’re in the area but it’s location isn’t the most convenient as it sits on the...
Read moreVery good authentic family run French restaurant. The owner—and waiter, is your typical French restaurant owner, cold and sweet at the same time. But knowing the French, I’d call that as lovely as you can guess. We had some caramelised duck with spinach or potatoes and the dish was simply excellent. Savoury, sweet, crispy, and soft at the same time. And it was accompanied with sublime Bourgogne wine. Perfect for a simple and nice dinner date. Highly...
Read moreThis neighborhood French restaurant offers the perfect local and friendly vibe, with very tasty and delicious food. It's great value for money and the staff is simply welcoming and nice. The quality of their product is really good and you can tell the owner is sourcing the ingredients carefully. Their wine list is also pretty exhaustive. If you live in the 18th arrondissement, I'd definitely recommend it! And there is a cute little...
