Not sure how it’s only rated at 4 stars, while half year ago it was 4.7? (Fake reviews from competition?). After 13 years of living in Paris and trying over 30 different bakeries, I can with confidence tell the viennoiseries are good. If you think these are not good- you haven’t had a bad one yet. It’s flaky, light, crispy, never a heavy aftertaste and always fresh. Service is a typical service for a busy bakery where 1-2 people take the order and 1 takes payments- there is always a queue and tourists get distracted looking at the variety and start hesitating to choose so they often miss their turn to be served- doesn’t mean you got discriminated (saying it as an immigrant myself), they will serve the ones who are ready and get back to you once you make up your mind. Prices are GOOD, those are standard across Paris. Was checking leonie’s summer vacation schedule and just couldn’t not write a good review for a great bakery in the hood. Don’t listen to bitter people and don’t...

I think it’s important to speak out about these things. I was in the queue for croissants, a family was in front of me ordering. I patiently waited while it was my turn, but no one came to assist me after. Next thing you know, a French guy walked in straight to the counter and the lady was prepared to serve him immediately. I had to firmly call out to inform them that I had been waiting before they were willing to serve me (I am a Asian lady). The ladies behind the counter simply looked displeased. I will not stand for such behaviour. If you’re looking for good croissants and baked goods, I would suggest going down to Union Boulangerie just a few min away. The staff are nicer and their croissants are much,...

The fluffiest croissant and pain chocolate I ever had. I was lucky to get a batch where they were still warm. Tea is comparatively expensive (4.50€ for a cup compared to a croissant for 1.70€) Throughout the week I tried several different pastries (cinnamon croissant, almond croissant) and even bread and everything was great and super delicious! The only thing I didn’t like is that I don’t live there and can not have a pastry every day. Maybe...

We had a wonderful time in Paris this week and were so lucky that Leonie's happened to be just next to our hotel. We went every morning for breakfast and coffee. The most delicious croissants I have ever tasted. Everything looked beautiful though. Great coffee (cheaper than in our hotel too) and the staff were so warm and friendly every time we went in. Would stay in this area again, simply to be able to visit Leonie's every morning.

The cardamom bun was underwhelming, with an off brioche-to-filling ratio. That said, I appreciated the generous seating area, which makes it a nice spot to sit and relax. Unfortunately, I was overcharged for my order, and when I pointed it out, the cashier blamed me for not mentioning it earlier. It wasn’t my fault that I was charged for the wrong item, and that interaction soured the experience a bit.
