Lucky Luciano — Restaurant in Paris

Ok food, awful service. Spent 10 minutes trying to catch a waiter to get some table water (there were water glasses on the table and full carafes on the bar) but was unable to (main waiter was chatting to a friend out front) so we eventually got up and took one ourselves. Then the entree ( a sharing platter) arrived... But at the same time as the main course. The wine had still not appeared though so we had to chase a waiter for that. When it appeared I noted to the waiter that we had butter with the entree but no bread. The waiter snidely commented that "when he had poured the wine, then he would get the bread".
