Mangez et cassez-vous — Restaurant in Paris

This was my third time visiting Mangez et Cassez Vous, having already tried the Faidherbe-Chaligny and Opéra locations, and I can confidently say that this particular branch provided the best experience I’ve had so far. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel very welcome. The service was polite, respectful, and genuinely warm. The attendant who helped me was especially kind and attentive, which really enhanced the overall visit.

Although I had to wait a bit before being served, the spacious layout of this location made the wait very comfortable. Unlike the other branches, there was plenty of room to relax without feeling cramped or rushed. This definitely improved my experience while waiting.

When it comes to the food, it was absolutely delicious as always. I ordered a Grossetto, a Tom Mouzay, and my all-time favorite, the Bad MF. Each sandwich was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared, exactly what I’ve come to expect from Mangez et Cassez Vous.

The interior decoration is fantastic too, with a modern yet cozy vibe that gives the place a lively and upbeat atmosphere. It’s a great spot to enjoy a meal, whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or planning to sit and savor the food.

Lastly, the prices here are unbeatable for Paris. Finding food this tasty at such affordable prices is rare, and it makes this spot even more special. The food was really good and filling, the only reason it’s not 5 stars it’s because the steak was a bit thinner than average but it’s tasteful so it doesn’t really change anything, especially when the prices are this low for something this tasty. otherwise a really fun experience, the place is really fun they have legos and jokes all around. Le concept est sympa et les burgers sont plutôt bons. Les frites le sont moins à mon goût (molles et très grasses). Le rapport qualité prix est imbattable et le principe mérite d’être encouragé.

Toutefois, le problème est qu’ils vous attirent avec des tarifs attractifs mais que, une fois devant le comptoir, ils essaient par tous les moyens de vous fourguer « l’air de rien » des suppléments à tous les niveaux, quitte à être très très TRÈS insistants et à vous jeter un regard noir si vous refusez. Il faut dire 3 fois NON pour le supplément bacon, comme si on était coupables de ne pas le prendre.

Une autre méthode consiste à ne vous laisser le choix qu’entre 2 produits (« frites cheddar ou frites cheddar bacon ? ») alors qu’il existe d’autres produits similaires et moins chers sur la carte (frites classiques).

Comme il y a du monde, beaucoup de bruit et qu’on fait la queue 20 min avant de pouvoir commander, on peut facilement être pris au dépourvu une fois devant le comptoir et acquiescer par automatisme pour des suppléments qu’on ne voulait pas. Au final on se retrouve avec une addition pouvant quasiment doubler par rapport à ce qu’on avait en tête en arrivant.

Je n’aime pas du tout ces méthodes, c’est pénible et cela s’est produit systématiquement les 3 fois où j’y suis allé depuis l’ouverture.
