American travelers from Dallas, TX and stopped in here for a light dinner. It’s different from the usual flow of Parisian dining for sure, but in every way that matters it was a great experience. The food was fantastic and exactly as requested. The hamburger was nicely done and the fries were slightly crunchy, just as I like them—every place has its own unique take on hamburgers, but you can judge them all on how they prepare their fries. I know my French is terrible and I’ve put up with a lot of mistakes the past week that could be contributed to communication issues, that was not the case here. The staff were all phenomenally friendly and helpful from the servers to cooks. Arguably one of the best experiences in the past week.
From what I understand, it’s a new place, but I really hope it does well. If you are a traveler (particularly English speaking) I can’t recommend enough giving these people...
Read moreWe ate an early dinner (late lunch) at around 5pm and the restaurant was empty. We could sit at a window with views of Nôtre Dame, which was beautiful. The restaurant is located in a very centric area next to the townhall, brimming with tourists and sorrounded by shops... yet the staff couldn't speak English. They were friendly and helped us go through the ordering process (done at the counter). The staff only bring the drinks to the table, so you have to pick up your own trays of food at the counter, which might turn out to be chaotic when the restaurant is full. There are no small salads to go with the burger, only fries, and my husband found them overcooked. The burgers were delicious, though, top quality angus beef minced meat and we completely recommend them! The red house wine was so-so. The...
Read moreWe were just looking for a burger spot close by and ended up here since it was walking distance. I got the Gotham Burger, it came with Irish Angus beef, Tomme de Savoie cheese, caramelized red onions, lettuce, and pepper sauce. What a big flavor for such a simple burger. Everything just worked together, but those caramelized onions really tied it all in. Juicy, rich, sweet, a little kick, every bite had something going on.
The place itself has this cool industrial vibe, kinda like an old train station. Music playing in the background, good energy. Staff was super friendly, helped us right away. Overall, this place and burger honestly surprised me. Would...
