Our experience at Meha was truly memorable! The place is cozy and inviting, though a bit small for the number of people it accommodates—we hope they can expand soon because they definitely deserve it!
What surprised us the most was the owner. He was incredibly humble and hardworking, personally helping to clean tables and making sure everything ran smoothly. He was literally everywhere at once! We had the chance to speak with him, and he was so kind—we genuinely wish him tons of success and growth in the future.
Now, the food—wow! It was a true Parisian experience, both authentic and unique at the same time. Every dish was magnifique, and the flavors were amazing. And we have to talk about the flan—it was absolutely incredible. We didn’t expect it to be so flavorful and have that delicate, pastry-like texture. It was unlike any other flan we’ve had—we can’t even imagine how they came up with such a masterpiece!
Overall, Meha is a must-visit for anyone looking for an authentic and delicious dining experience. We can’t wait to return and see this place...
Read moreWe were going to pay a Saturday night visit to the Sacre Coeur and made a last dinner minute reservation to this little restaurant slightly off the beaten path. And it ended up being the best meal of my entire 10-day trip in France. I knew I was in for a treat when I was waiting for my table and saw patrons diligently finishing every last bite of food off of their plates. An hour later, I was contemplating licking my plate dry. Small tasting menu options but every bite we had was absolutely delicious. The steak entrée was cooked to perfection over a bed of cabbage and is a plate that I will be thinking about for a long time. The service was exceptional and despite being the only english speaking table in a bustling restaurant filled with locals enjoying their staurday night, our waiter made sure to explain everything in English and made lovely wine suggestions. This will be tops on my list of places to visit when I return to Paris....
Read moreWe had a wonderful dinner at Meha and can wholeheartedly recommend it! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive – we felt welcome from the moment we walked in.
For starters, we had the macaroni stuffed with artichoke and mushrooms with a parmesan emulsion – rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying – as well as the guacamole tartlet on a lobster pastry with sea bass, which was super well-balanced and elegant in flavor.
As mains, we tried the beef fillet with darphin potatoes, pak choi, sweet onion, and kimchi condiment – a perfect fusion of savory and spicy – and the monkfish medallion with artichoke barigoule and head jus, served with wild asparagus. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented.
A real highlight was the dessert – don’t miss the very creamy homemade pastry flan! It’s a must-try and the perfect end to a fantastic meal.
We’ll definitely be back....
