Very surprised by the 4.9 rating as of Feb 2022.

The food is good but far from astounding. There is a lot of effort put into presentation, which is refreshingly new for Indian restaurants in this price range. There are, in fact, very few indian restaurants in this price range in Paris. But unfortunately the dishes don’t have the explosion of flavors that the beautiful presentations suggest.

The mushroom truffle naan is an interesting French twist on what you usually see with naans. The dough was a bit spongy and the truffle tasted a tinge too artificial.

The mango lassi was good. The rose lassi was good but did not taste like rose whatsoever but rather like a simple yoghurt lassi.

The lamb shank was good though slightly dry. The lentil dal was good, but lacked the pop of flavor I expect from indian food and especially from food at this price point (17euros).

The butter chicken, a classic, was underwhelming too. The sauce is velvety but lacks intensity in taste. Likewise, the chicken is tender but unimpressive in terms of taste.

Dessert are another example of effort in presentation and little to show in taste. The pistachio rice pudding had a pleasant texture but was utterly lacking in pistachio taste. The best flavor on the plate were the raspberries.

The service, I must say, is great. Very attentive to your needs, polite, efficient, nothing to say there.

I think that their current rating inexactly reflects the quality of food you will get. I appreciate their initiative and attempt at modernizing indian cuisine at this price point, but the surprising lack of exciting flavor makes me want to return to a traditional indian place for the usual punch of flavors I crave in...

Our visit to this charming spot as a group of four was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we arrived, the welcoming atmosphere set the tone for an incredible dining experience. We started with the mango drink, a vibrant and refreshing choice that felt like a burst of tropical sunshine in every sip – the perfect prelude to the meal.

Next came their broccoli and pomegranate salad, a dish that can only be described as a work of culinary art. The crispness of the broccoli paired beautifully with the juicy pop of pomegranate seeds, creating a harmonious balance of textures and flavors. It wasn’t just food; it was an experience for the senses.

For my main course, I opted for the butter chicken, and it was everything you’d want in comfort food – rich, flavorful, and utterly satisfying. It’s a dish that lingers in your memory, making you look forward to your next visit before you’ve even left.

To round off the meal, we indulged in their tea. Aromatic, soothing, and beautifully brewed, it was the perfect conclusion to a remarkable dining experience. It’s a must-try for anyone visiting, especially after such a decadent meal.

And, of course, I can’t forget to mention the staff. Warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, they elevated our visit with their exceptional service, ensuring that every detail was just right.

Whether you’re looking for bold flavors, thoughtful presentation, or impeccable hospitality, this place delivers it all. It’s a spot I’ll be returning to...

A total scam. They have definitely bought fake reviews to get such good grading. They served us food which was not fresh and here we are in the middle of the night puking 🤮. First time experiencing food poisoning from such a good rated restaurant 😡😡😡😡 The food was extremely blunt in taste. Starting from the Tikkas which had a childish plating with spoilt red cabbage. Then moving on to dishes like Nihari, what a shame, absolutely tasteless, served cold and the meat was of low quality. The owner said that his target was mainly French customers so the food were less spicy. There’s a difference between spicing the dishes less & no knowing how to cook a dish. The cooks are extremely incompetent. No salt in any dishes. The butter chicken sauce was too thin and was surprisingly bitter. The fish was the only dish which was acceptable. Seriously the owner/waiter knew that we didn’t enjoy the food & brought us some chilli paste which was even more disgusting. Please don’t cheat on clients. Already your dishes are tasteless, please serve fresh food at least. I’m disgusted 🤢 Will never come back or recommend it to anyone. The worst tasting Indian restaurant in paris with some plating skills. Over priced for food which tastes like you’ve bought from precooked supermarket food. There are way better Indian restaurants who serve quality dishes in paris. This one is an...

Its a boutique restaurant with decent tables, well located in Paris and a go to place for fellow Indians. Marketing gimmick:- Even if they have free tables, they say that its fully booked please come after some time. I am very lenient when it comes to rating restaurants, I personally loved the preparation however I didn’t like few things at this venue. Price:- They charge you hell more than any other Indian restaurant in Paris charges, (i.e. more than Par. )Thats fine if they are giving you good quality and tasty food, however you wont get extra lemon or onions even after paying more. You have to keep on reminding them for very minute things and the worst thing is if you wanna change order, the manager Says the order once placed cant be changes, its on the system. They tend to over sell their most expensive dishes! Hopefully if you want to spend more for food that is well presented go for it! May be book in advance so that you get a table in this very small boutique restaurant. The service men was very polite! Mr. Chanakya, gem of a Person. Would expect more from this place if I visit them again.
