We absolutely loved our stay at Hôtel Le Walt. It was the perfect starting point for our Paris adventure. The hotel is beautifully maintained and recently renovated, combining modern comfort with classic Parisian charm. Our room was small (as expected in older Parisian buildings) but thoughtfully designed and spotlessly clean. The king-sized bed was very comfortable, and we especially appreciated the lighted makeup mirror, glass shower, and marble-style tile in the bathroom. The elegant lighting and wood floors gave the space a boutique feel. One of the highlights was the view—we had French doors in both the bedroom and bathroom that opened to a quiet street lined with iconic Parisian architecture, and even a peek at the Eiffel Tower, which was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. The location is excellent—within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, museums, and charming cafés. The hotel felt like a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. Staff were kind and professional, and check-in was easy and efficient. If you’re looking for a boutique hotel with charm, comfort, and a view that reminds you you're really in Paris, Hôtel Le Walt is a wonderful choice. We’d happily stay again. — Paul & Lisa | #365soltravel

This was my first time in Paris, traveling solo as well, and Hôtel Le Walt was the perfect place to stay! Located 10 minutes from the Eiffel Tower (and 2 paces from a metro station), this cozy hotel has not only stunning rooms but every staff member I met was a delight. Not only were they very fluent in English, but helped facilitate taxi rides and kept my room spotless. Having visted in June, with most of Paris very sparingly using AC, I was relieved that this hotel has a powerful system to keep everyone cool. RECOMMENDATION: When purchasing a room, you have the option of choosing a plan that includes a daily breakfast. This is WORTH it - every morning I started my day with a lovely coffee, croissants, quiche, and hand-pressed juice. There is a whole cold bar of meats and yogurts and I believe there was even waffles as well. A great spread! NOTE: The only criticism I have (which is TINY) would be the fact there was no clock in my room, which was a bit disorienting at times, and there are only European outlets (no USB). It also worth mentioning that the bed I had was very firm, much to my liking but some people prefer something cushier.

I’m very grateful with Le Walt hotel for making my first nights in Paris very pleasant. Since it was my first time visiting Paris (by myself) I faced some challenges along the way, but the hotel always felt like a refugee, where I felt safe and could go back to ask questions and get prepared to go back outside. Plus, the room always stays clean, good smelling, nice view, very well located near the Eiffel Tower, good room temperature (it was winter), you may hear garbage trucks in the morning perhaps but I think that’s unavoidable in any hotel that you stay in, specially in a touristic city like Paris with a lot of movement. Lastly, I hope you receive the efficient and friendly help from Jad at the reception, he was super helpful, well spoken, he speaks english perfectly (actually everyone at reception spoke english very well) and also, the lovely and attentive service from Anne Marie at the lounge, she makes really good tea and is always eager to help.

I cannot urge people enough not to stay here. This hotel is literally falling apart. My husband and I had the worst hotel stay we have ever experienced here. The air conditioning in our room did not work during the recent heat wave (another reviewer recently had the same issue), our ceiling leaked onto the bathroom floor due to the broken air conditioning system, and the main light in our bathroom did not work so we could barely see anything while we were getting ready in the morning. The absolute worst part was three days into our stay, I went to take a shower and less than five minutes into the shower the shower stopped draining and flooded our bathroom floor. I was stuck sitting in my room with shampoo in my hair and had to beg the front desk attendant for a key to another room to finish showering and walk through the hotel with shampoo in my hair which was humiliating. The hotel initially offered us a room change after the ceiling began leaking, since we had just changed from a classic room to the Eiffel Tower room and were assured the leak would be fixed the next morning, we declined. We also really wanted to be in the Eiffel Tower view room as that was the whole reason we had picked this hotel to begin with. However, after the shower stopped working we asked for a room change (the same day it was offered) and were told the hotel did not have another room for us. The staff did not have the issues in our room fixed in a timely manner. When all of the issues started happening on Sunday we were told no one could come until Monday. On Monday we were gone from the room from 10 am to 5 pm and when we returned we were told the repair guy was still in our room... We asked the manager on duty when he would be finished and he refused to give us an estimate. We had to get ready for our dinner reservation (we had already missed one the night before due to the shower issue) so we asked the manager to have the repair man come back the next day as we would be gone from the room. In spite the manger promising to have the repair person come back to our room after he did not finish the repairs the first time he came, he never returned so we literally had these issues our whole stay in our Eiffel Tower view room. The main manager of the hotel is on vacation and she was unwilling to get involved in helping me address these issues during our stay. All the issues aside, I still would not recommend people stay here. The hotel is dated and the furniture is banged up, the photos online are not an accurate representation of the hotel. The service is subpar and the breakfast is not very good. The room service menu has almost nothing on it. The cleaning staff forgot to refill the water and coffee in our room more than once. Please take your money and enjoy your Paris vacation elsewhere. If you are on the fence, please go read the responses from the hotel staff to negative reviews on TripAdvisor. The hotel regularly responds to poor reviews with sarcastic comments, deflection, and personal attacks. This shows the lack of care and concern. I wish I had done more homework before booking...

Hotel Le Walt is an absolute gem of a property on all levels! The entire staff were so friendly and genuine that it really made this place feel like home. The room was quite big for European standards (we had the executive room which was so comfortable) which was great as we were able to unpack our suitcases, dump all our shopping and still have room to move. Our room faced the courtyard too which meant we had a quiet nights sleep. Bliss! The complimentary minibar was appreciated, as was the large bottle of water that was replenished daily. The location in the 7th is outstanding (Tour Eiffel is all but a 5 min walk). The metro is literally just out front which allows you go get anywhere around the city in minutes (line 8 is a safe line (the line you will get on from the hotel, but watch for pick pockets on the 4 and 1). The highlight for us was breakfast. I love a French breakfast (how can you go wrong with cheese, meats and pastries) but what made it special was Anne-Marie, aka Queen Lady! She was so genuine, fun and really went out of her way to make sure our day always started off right… her fresh boiled eggs were next level too! All in all we had an exceptional 7 night stay over Christmas here and we really look forward to returning. Do yourself a favour… when searching for a place to stay in Paris, look no further, you wont be disappointed! Thank-you team...

I stayed at hotel Le Walt for nine days in May and it was the most wonderful experience. I stayed in an executive room with wonderful views into a quiet, peaceful court yard. Our room was clean and gorgeous with plenty of room to move around and lots of natural light. The bathroom was up to date with a beautiful marble and gold finish with the most comfortable thick bathrobes and slippers. I enjoyed the little touches like the period phone that worked, art, biscuits and coffee in the morning and mini bar. The bed was large and comfortable, and we slept well in such a quiet room. The hotel is located next to some excellent restaurants and a patisserie that we dined at regularly. The Eiffel Tower is a few minutes walk away and we walked their nightly to view the tower light up. The Metro is right outside the building for longer destinations but we found we walked to the Invalides, Place de la Concorde, Louvre, Palais Garnier, and many other places daily, just about 10-15 minutes away. The staff at Hotel le Walt were top notch, between an easy check in, answering numerous questions, making reservation, providing recommendations and more they made the stay above and beyond my expectations. I would recommend staying at hotel Le Walt and in the 7th arr, we...
