If you are looking for a boulangerie that is worth the wait, then this one is definitely worth the visit. Despite the long line of customers upfront, the service is quick and efficient. But what sets this boulangerie apart is its ability to offer hard-to-find "traditional" baguettes, which have become harder to find, even in Paris. The baguette is crisp and flaky on the outside while soft and tender on the inside - it's absolutely divine. You can purchase a whole one or half (demi baguette). But that's not all, the bakery also offers a variety of excellent baked goods, including Jewish babka and challah. The babka is sweet and chocolatey while the challah is fluffy yet sturdy enough to handle any sandwich filling. The prices are surprisingly reasonable, considering the quality and variety of the baked goods. Overall, this bakery is definitely worth checking out. With its unique offerings of traditional baguette, Jewish babka, and challah, it's no wonder that the line of customers is always so long. The service is quick, the prices are reasonable, and the baked goods are simply delicious. I highly recommend giving this...
Read moreI enjoyed this bakery while staying in Gare de Lyon in Paris. Love the variety of baked goods and the prices were very reasonable. They had the best feuillete praline that was crispy with stripes of chocolate on top. They were just across the street from the Holiday Inn. I wish I had taken a picture before enjoying it. The lady was kind and helpful to this non- French speaking tourist. When I tried to speak French, she had the sweetest smile! Grab breakfast here and get a hearty sandwich to go. You'll have lunch covered as well! You won't regret it. Reposting someone else pic of feuillete praline. Not every boulangerie in Paris offers this, so...
Read moreI was staying at a hotel across the street and my wife and I wanted to get something quick to eat. We got 2 delicious baguette sandwiches , a chocolate tart , raspberry macron and soda for 15 euro. We went back to our room ate everything. It was so good that I ended up going back to get more pastries for tomorrow. The service was quick and friendly. We don’t speak French, but the girl that helped us spoke English fluently. I would recommend this place to anyone. The bread is so fresh pillowy soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. These were the best pastries I’ve...
