The closest thing to a NY bagel that I’ve yet to find in Paris (in almost 10 years of searching). The decoration and vibe of the place is spot on and authentic to an old school bagel spot in NY. It’s not flashy, but the gentleman working behind the counter is nice and without a NY attitude. What impressed me most were the drinks selection in the fridge. Several flavors of Snapple, A&W root beer and cream soda! Slices of carrot cake. This place is bonafide NY style. I felt like I was in Queens for a minute.
Now for the bagel. I got the “Wall Street” which is with just cream cheese (the only way to get a bagel IMO). I got it on a cheese (Asiago for the real ones) bagel and toasted. He put it in a panini press which squished it a bit but gave it the crunchiest most satisfying texture. The right amount of cream cheese was put in the bagel and I was pleased. Coffee to go and reasonably priced. Bagel 4€50, noisette café 1€30 for a total of 5€80 for breakfast. 🙌🏼 so glad this place exists and hope it continues to outlast the shameful bagelsteins across...

However if you are a New Yorker searching for THAT experience this isn’t it. My onion bagel was alright, but quite fluffy and not very dense. Plain is the only cream cheese option, and it’s not so much toasted as grilled like a panini. The coleslaw was decent.
