Papilla Brochant — Restaurant in Paris

The place looks nice, but in the end i did not leave happy. I had the lasagne with salad, which just lacked flavor. Even adding salt generously did not help that out. For dessert I had three balls of ice cream, which surprisingly all lacked flavor as well. But my main point must be on service. The young staff was at times very occupied with the restaurant dog behind the counter. Bad thing about this is that they were petting the dog and scratching behind the ears and then take fresh cutlery to lay on new tables or even walk down plates of food. All without sanitizing their hands! And after my dessert i waited for 30 minutes to get a waiter to my table to ask for the cheque, but although thye walked past me almost every 2 minites, they managed to ifnore me completely. I could easily have walked out without paying at least 5 times. Then when i stood up with my coat already on the waitress saw it and asked me why i looked at her. I came here on a new year's trip to Paris with my sister. This restaurant quickly became our favourite place to eat and drink. The staff are so welcoming and always remembered us when we came back. They also helped us with information on where to go and how to get there. It was clean and the atmosphere is beautiful. perfect if you're looking for that romantic date night. The food was amazing. I'm a big fan of Italian food so this was a real treat every time. My sister and I especially enjoyed the beer here. We are not wine drinkers so we stood out with out pints. I cannot say enough about how everything and everyone in this restaurant were amazing! Absolutely 5 star rating!! Our daughter has a nut allergy and the kitchen and servers made her feel completely comfortable about the food. We are a family of 5 and also sometimes hard to find a table together but the set up of this restaurant has comfortable tables that are not way in the back of the restaurant!
