Paristanbul Gare de l’Est — Restaurant in Paris

Walked by this place a few times in the mornings. On my way to the historic sites. Never thought much of it. I didn’t believe the reviews, but I went, and it was everything the stars said it would be. The guys behind the counter cooked my food fresh with big smiles. The seasoning was spot on, and everything was tender and juicy. I got the mixed platter. I took my food back to the Airbnb, but there was a cute couple having their food on wooden platters that reminded me of charcuterie at a wine bar....

For 4.8* and 625 reviews the owner must be paying for 5* reviews. For 15 euros, we got greasy rice, soggy and cold fries, salad was just cabbage and a slice of tomato. The owner asked us if we wanted any sauce, we never got any sauce or any spice. Everyone’s talking about how big the portions are but what we got was not even worth 10€. Would not recommend and highly suggest finding somewhere...

A great late night place to go to eat and have a good time! Went here last night and the owner and cook of this establishment were amazing to us and treated us very kindly! Especially with not being from around here for the owner to accept us with open arms and to be as kind as he was is an experience I will never forget! Also great delicious food that will make you want to come back over...
