Pho Indochine — Restaurant in Paris

What a lovely surprise this was! I walked in and was greeted by a sweet lady, who recommended the 'Pho maison'. It was indeed delicious and hearty, and came with a side dish of Thai coriander, soybean sprouts, half a lemon, so you could add them to your Pho as desired. There were also two sauces, one I recognised as Sriracha, the other being Hoisin sauce, for the meat.

I have since returned with friends who were also very impressed. The service adds a big plus, as you genuinely feel that the food is authentic and made with love. Also the prices are extremely reasonable. On my second visit I had the tamarind soup, which was a special they had on, and I really enjoyed it too. Homemade and delicious food!

Ordered the Pho Maison which was piping hot and served with fresh bean sprouts, just like in Vietnam (but this was cleaner & fresher!) Also ordered stir fried vegetables which was well seasoned and freshly wok fried.

The people are exceptionally lovely here. The food was not our favorite. There was not much flavor in anything we tried. Spring rolls had no flavor at all , not even a bit of fresh mint.
