I've heard that Parisians dont really eat macarons, but they do buy these choux quite often ( North Americans call them as cream puffs ). Praline and salted caramel are their best sellers. I've tries both and also other flavors. For newbie, i definitely recommend praline. Salted caramel is also tasty but i personally think at Popelini, you may find other flavors surpass caramel flavor.
I personally highly recommend the one with lots of white cream popping out(dont know its name, it taste like vanilla, and its chocolate inside).....also recommend pistache. If you prefer bitter sweet flavor, then I recommend cafe and chocolate noir flavor.
Too yummy! I'm glad i will be moving to Paris in 1.5 year and this place is close to my house!!

These require immediate consumption, which is...
Read moreI had bookmarked this place well before visiting Paris, the store is tiny and very chic. I tried the passion fruit which tasted unlike anything I have tried passion fruit flavored before. Everything was precisely perfect. Full flavors and fresh fresh cream inside. I wish I tried more flavors but I had to save room for other deliciousness throughout the day. I am prone to heartburn and the passion fruit gave me heartburn right away but it was worth it. Great place to stop if you need some treats to bring to a...
