I just had the most terrible experience at this Sephora. The staff here is totally incompetent.
I came to check the Hourglass tint and needed help with choosing a shade. I asked a woman for assistance, and she told me she was the manager and would ask her colleague. Instead of speaking with me, she went to a tall salesman and started discussing something in French, without including me, and the two of them ran straight to the Hourglass corner. I was left just standing behind. When I approached them and explained that I wanted to find my Hourglass shade, the manager had already disappeared. The salesman then said very quickly in broken English: âMadam, this is not your palette, Iâll show you Guerlain,â and rushed me awayâwithout asking what I was looking for. I felt as if he was only interested in pushing Guerlain, not helping me.
From there, the situation only got worse. The salesman worked in a completely chaotic way. He never asked about my preferences or checked my skin tone properly. Instead, he randomly grabbed products and led me to the beauty area. Without asking for my permission, he poured primer onto his bare handsâwhich were clearly not disinfectedâand started applying it directly to my face. Then he picked up a foundation and brush, also without disinfecting it, and smeared it over my skin, even under my eyes where I was already wearing concealer. To make it worse, he dipped the same dirty brush into a powder sample and applied it on top. The whole process was careless, unhygienic, and absolutely unacceptable.
When I looked in the mirror, the result was shocking: a very dark, orange shade on my pale skin. I said I didnât like it, and he simply said âsorryâ and walked away, leaving me standing there trying to wipe it off. Nobody offered to help, try another shade, or even ask what I actually wanted. I had to leave the store and go home just to wash everything off, and the thought of how many germs were on those dirty brushes was truly disgusting.
I left feeling completely disappointed, uncomfortable, and with a sense of real disgust after this experience. If anyone from Sephora reads this, please take it seriouslyâbecause service like this doesnât just let customers down, it damages...
Read moreI was very disappointed in the way the way Deborah acted as she refused to engrave a perfume that I had bought the previous day for âŹ160 at Sephora l. Normally the service is offered given the price of the perfumes. Deborah refused to engrave the perfume and told me to go to the Sephora where I bought it from, She said this quiet nastily and scolded me as though I was a child and I done deliberately something wrong. I found this to be very poor customer service and also implies that she believes that she is in competition with other Sephoraâs. As someone who works in Human Resources I would definitely give a warning to anyone who behaves like that. I donât understand why sheâs acting like a competitor with the other Sephora is given that Sephora is a big brand. Individualistic behaviour such as this reflects badly on a big brand. I also found this upsetting because I had been to that Sephora many times as itâs next to my house and I felt like scolding a regular client like a school kid was completely...
Read moreFirst time I went there the saleswoman was super nice and even tried on 3 products on me, which I bought. Second time another saleswoman told me I had to pay 45⏠to try a primer on???? I don't think I'm going there again. Besides that one employee the rest don't even say hi and look annoyed when you talk to them. I even bought a product of their misguided help that after they didn't want to exchange! The woman kept screaming at me "I can't take it cause I can't sell it!". Is selling all that matters? Customer experience is not important? It took me over a month of communicating with HHRR to get it exchanged (they called the store telling them it had to be changed) and again, the saleswoman was super rude to me because of it. Make yourselves responsible for...
