I Entered your esteemed establishment yesterday evening after checking the menu outside. Which mentioned Margarita on the menu. I went in and asked for a takeaway only When a proper seating was not allocated to me. I ordered a margarita and checked in with your staff if the tomato base didn’t contain any beef bouillon. His reply was he didn’t understand what I was saying and asked another server to attend to me. I asked the other server very specifically that the pizza’s base stock didn’t contain, any “meat, chicken, fish or egg”. His reply was “only tomatoes, mozzarella and basilico, Regular Margarita. I made a payment and went around the corner. When I returned, the first server showed me a box of pizza which contained ham and mushrooms (not margarita). I told this is not my order. He told me this is Margarita. I told him this is not the first time I have ordered a Margarita. With a surprising coincidence , your establishment had a box of margarita (with only tomatoes basil and mozzarella) already prepared at the exact same time. Which he brings out from the rack above the counter and opens it for me. Am I supposed to thank you for for changing my pizza order or gaslighting me. Or maybe it’s your establishment’s policy to open every takeaway order, before you hand it over to...

I’ve been to Pizza Di Gio several times espeically when I’m craving a comforting lunch in a cozy, relaxed setting.

My favorite dishes are the tagliatelle al limone (9/10): fresh, zesty, and satisfying , and the paccheri alla norma (8/10). The creamy truffle tagliatelle is also delicious, but definitely on the heavier side, so best to share.

Their pizza is also worth trying: lately I’ve been into the white pizza with mozzarella and ham, simple and comforting.

Deuxième fois que je déjeune dans ce restaurant italien. Salle exiguë et beaucoup de monde, mais bons plats dans l'ensemble. La première fois, malgré le fait que j'aie commandé un plat de pates à la sauce tomate pour "enfant" (notre fille a 3 ans) la sauce était relevée donc j'ai du échanger mon plat avec elle... Pas très grave. Mais au moment de partir, j'avais tout de même remonté l'info au serveur. Excuses faites et acceptées. Aujourd'hui nous nous rendons à nouveau dans ce restaurant, car situé en face de chez nous, et ouvert le dimanche... plutôt pratique. Nous commandons nos plats et à nouveau, des pâtes à la sauce tomate pour la petite. J'insiste sur le fait de ne pas épicer la sauce, en rappelant au serveur la situation de la dernière fois... il me dit ok. Les plats arrivent et cette fois encore, les pates sont épicées (poivre noir visible dans la sauce). Evidemment, pour un adulte, ce n'est pas gênant, mais un palais d'enfant est beaucoup plus sensible aux épices. Je ne veux tout de même pas faire d'esclandre, et décide une fois de plus d'échanger mon plat avec celui de ma fille. Il est 13h, on a tous faim... Au moment de débarrasser, je souhaite tout de même en informer le serveur. C'est à ce moment là que la discussion devient lunaire : il me fait comprendre qu'en gros, la sauce n'est pas relevée, que c'est dans ma tete. Je lui montre alors le poivre bien visible dans mon assiette, mais il continue de nier. Je pars du principe que l'erreur est humaine et c'est la première fois que je poste un avis négatif sur un restaurant. Une excuse aurait été suffisante. Au lieu de ça, ce jeune serveur a été condescendant et son attitude était pitoyable. Le patron n'était pas présent aujourd'hui, quel dommage car je suis certaine que sa réaction aurait été...
