Prince Palace — Restaurant in Paris

We made a reservation for new years eve and were told we could only order the 150€ pp Menù.

After some consideration, we decide to go for it, expecting a rather elegant and special experience.

When we got there we could not believe our eyes. This is not a fancy or exclusive restaurant, it is more like an expensive but trashy shisha bar/club that also serves food.

When we got there (7pm), they were completely unprepared and were still putting up the decorations. We got seated (or rather just parked) upstairs, were a massive screen with a football match was on, and some guys were smoking Shisha right beside our table. Not really ideal for our New Years plans.

We decided to leave even though we did not have an alternative ready because we were really upset and I was getting a headache from the smoke.

The food might be good (we didn't try anything, we left before) but the whole atmosphere...

Worst place ever! I went to the store at 4 pm and made a reservation for 5 people to come at 11:30 pm in the same day. All of us were exactly there at 11:30

Believe it or not, they said that we don't have a reservation!!! I told them to check the store's camera to see that I was there with my two friends and made that reservation. The Syrian dude was so rude when he said that we don't have a reservation. I told him to give me the owner's phone so I can talk to him. He said he doesn't have it! R u kidding me? U have been working there for 2 years and u don't have his number?! I got the business card downstairs and called the owner. The owner is even worse than his employees. This place is not recommend at all! They r so racist towards...

We took refuge from the crowds on the Champs-Elysees in a small arcade and found this place for lunch. While tourists were packed into the adjacent Starbucks, we found this comfortable and friendly place for a delicious and reasonably priced lunch. By night, upstairs is a nightclub open 'til 5am, while downstairs (where we sat) contains a bar and opens at 11am. As a family of three from Australia, dressed very casually, we likely appeared a bit out-of-place to the regular clientele, but the waiter was extremely friendly and competent, and explained the various dishes expertly and patiently.
