It's not the worst club in Paris, but also not the best. There's so many tables that there's barely any room to dance, and eventually, the club fills up to the point that you can only really shuffle to the music. Drink prices are extortionate and a lot of people don't really dance, they just stand around taking pictures of themselves... the DJing was decent enough, a lot of mixes rather than playing songs all the way through. Dampened my vibe a little when we got 30 seconds of a good song just to switch to something more generic. Sigh.
Inside decor is really nice, I'll give them that. People have listed the club being "small" as a negative, but I do think a cosy clubbing space could be a huge plus IF they stopped accepting more people than the club can hold! The issue isn't the size, it's the fact there's just too many people.
Note, you will see lots of people blatantly smoking cigarettes indoors, I counted at least 7 separate people while I was there, and security doesn't do anything about it. It's quite a small space, so not very pleasant.
The wait wasn't too bad, took about 15 minutes to get in on a Friday night. I had no issues with the bouncers. The people who I encountered on the dance floor were also pretty chill; I had a good time mingling with different groups. But ultimately, I did leave early because... well, if there's so many people I can't dance, that defeats the entire purpose of clubbing for me.
Overall, I don't know if I'd come here again. There's better clubs out there. But it's not a bad spot either. Just depends what you want out of your...
Read moreWas invited to this place after being backstage at a Drake concert. As we got there it was queue but the line was moving pretty fast. When it came to our time the black guy letâs call him John asked âhow manyâ and I said three. John then said âwe are fullâ and turned around. I stepped aside and spoke with another black security guard standing there and we asked what was the problem. He said he wasnât sure and that John was the only person that could let us in. He asked John again and John looked and said NO.. then let loads of white girls in. All while smiling and laughing. Most reviews say they discriminate against Americans but it was very sad to see someone of your own race turning you down. There was a group of other black people standing outside as well and Iâm only assuming he turned them down. Very sad and very rude of John. The people we were invited by eventually got there *about an hour after we were turned down, but of course we didnât want to go anymore after the embarrassment.
But thinking about it, maybe we should have just so JOHN can see who he was actually dealing with. You should be ashamed of yourself, your MOTHER& FATHER is black and those same girls you are smiling in front of will turn on you VERY quickly. SHAME SHAME SHAME. So if youâre black and international, either walk in with white people...
