Please do not be deceived by the photos of this hotel! This hotel is definitely not a five-star hotel I stayed here for two weeks we booked two rooms at $700 a night do the math it was expensive! The room had no HEAT! We froze!!!!! no extra blankets, we had to move our room THREE times… still no heat so they gave us a portable heater to put in the room (photo attached)The last one we moved to there was a man smoking in the adjoining room next-door now this is a non-smoking hotel but this man had been smoking all day and all night me and my companion got bronchitis had to go to the pharmacist to purchase medication because we were getting ill from the cigarette smoke coming through the door you, will be able to see the odor eliminator machine that they placed in the hallway because of the smoke that had filled the entire floor. I’m going to post a picture of what I had to do to the door to get the cigarette smoke to stop coming through the door until they finally asked him to stop smoking or they moved him. NOW THIS is the big one they also had construction that lasted my entire trip ! from 8 AM until 6 o’clock 7 o’clock some evenings, the housekeeping is horrible they do not clean the rooms everything is dusty and dirty carpets are filthy! they never replenish anything not the coffee not the creamer they left dirty sheets and pillowcases on my dresser one day didn’t clean the floors didn’t vacuum didn’t clean the sink never clean the shower out as you can see the attached photo hair in the bathtub which was also filthy ! THEY do not accommodate you with ice buckets glasses extra towels or anything all of the sheets & towels in the bathroom are old and dingy you have no view out of your room it’s a dirty looking courtyard ! The window only opens about 4 inches. the only good thing about this entire hotel was the beautiful lobby and the bartenders. They are very polite at the front desk but they never do anything to fix a situation, the management did not care that the construction went on every single day the entire trip they did nothing to compensate you, but just blamed it on a building next-door when we could hear hear banging hammers in the rooms right above our heads they had jackhammers in the basement that shook the building as if it were a earthquake.. I had anxiety the whole time I was here it was terrible! I had to stay out of my room in order to get some kind of peace because every time I came into the hotel I would have an anxiety attack from the jackhammers in the loud loud construction that vibrated through the entire building which is huge! imagine being awakened every morning at 7:30 8 o’clock by jackhammer's! This was unacceptable and should’ve been told to my family prior to checking into this hotels. I am sitting here In my hotel room as I type this and there is a party so loud with African drums and music right outside everyone’s window in a courtyard, that won’t be over until 11 PM so they say. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel in my entire life and I travel a lot I will never ever come back to this hotel . I work in the entertainment business and I will make sure to never spend my money...
Read moreAs a father currently staying at the Paris Marriott Champs Élysées Hotel with my family, I can honestly say this vacation has exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the staff made us feel right at home. The service here is truly exceptional—every request was met with genuine care and attention, making our family vacation not only comfortable but also incredibly memorable.
The hotel itself exudes a refined elegance that blends classic Parisian charm with modern luxury. Our spacious room offers breathtaking views of the bustling Champs-Élysées, and the amenities cater perfectly to both adults and children. The kids have been delighted with the playful touches in the common areas, while I’ve appreciated the quiet corners designed for relaxation after a day of sightseeing.
One of the many reasons I chose this hotel was its unbeatable location. Nestled in the heart of Paris, it provides easy access to some of the city’s most iconic tourist sites—all within walking distance. Just a short stroll away, we marveled at the Arc de Triomphe, an emblem of French history and architectural grandeur. The Champs-Élysées itself is a vibrant stretch filled with history, culture, and a lively atmosphere, perfect for a family walk in the evening. Not far from the hotel, you can also visit the Grand Palais and the Petit Palais, both architectural masterpieces that host fascinating art and cultural exhibitions.
In addition to the historical landmarks, the surrounding area is a shopper’s paradise. For those who appreciate high-end retail, the location is ideal. The Champs-Élysées is lined with luxury boutiques and flagship stores that offer an array of designer labels. Just a stone’s throw away, you’ll find prestigious brands such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Cartier, among others. Even if shopping isn’t your primary interest, the window displays and elegant storefronts provide a glimpse into Parisian style and sophistication that is sure to captivate both adults and children alike.
Beyond its location and design, the real standout has been the staff’s commitment to outstanding service. From the friendly concierge who provided us with detailed recommendations for family-friendly dining and entertainment, to the housekeeping team that ensured our room was immaculate every day, every member of the hotel staff went above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere. Their knowledge of the city, coupled with a genuine desire to make our stay unforgettable, truly set this hotel apart. Their dedication has allowed us to relax and enjoy our vacation, knowing that every detail is...
Read moreI always like to start my reviews with the people... At the time of my stay, all the people working in this hotel were really very kind, happy, positive, helpful, professionals! I must congratulate the team of Marriott Hotel Champs Elysees for that first of all.
Apart from that, the hotel is in a very convenient top location. There is nothing to add on that!
I went with my family for tourism. So I chose this hotel and I do not regret it at all. I wasn't there to spend much time inside the hotel. But for all the time I spent inside the hotel, I was completely satisfied.
Some more comments:
ROOMS: As I mentioned, I went with my family so I took a family room with 2 queen-size beds. Bathroom in the room is spacious with a shower AND a bathtub. There are smaller and bigger family rooms. "Bigger" have a small living room area too. "Smaller" only have an arm-chair and a small coffee table. Of course I prefer the "bigger" if it is available. I was lucky enough to get the "bigger" version in my second and third nigh of stay. One other positive thing about the rooms, that I feel I need to share is that they had a lot of lights! In most hotel rooms you have low light or few lamps. In this hotel you can switch on all the lamps of the room if you like and really feel awake ;-) Or if you prefer of course you can switch on only a few lights and create an nice atmosphere to read a book or watch a movie on the 60 inch TV screen.
LOBBY: The lobby was OK. I really didn't care much about the lobby, because I only used the lobby ... once or never ;-)
RESTAURANT: It has a nice cozy dining area overlooking the Champs Elysees Avenue. You can have a light lunch or light dinner or simply drink a coffee.
LOBBY BAR: It has also a lobby bar if you wish to drink a coffee or a drink waiting for your friends or family to come down... In any case you are not going to stay inside. You want to walk around and enjoy this beautiful city.
BUSINESS MEETING ROOMS: Unless you are there for business, so you can definitely use one of the meeting rooms to cater a meeting of yours.
BREAKFAST: The breakfast is very good too, offering all that a 5-star hotel should offer. I have only one "negative" comment to make: inside the breakfast area, there is the cook who prepares the fried eggs and the omelettes etc. BUT they have NOT "Cooker Hoods" to absorb the frying pan smells, therefore you will smell like a cook, after your breakfast.I am sure a Hood...
