Radiodays offers quality coffee in a pleasant setting with nice tables facing a low traffic street. 4 stars from me is a strong rating. The staff is professional and willing to share the history of their products. Start speaking French no matter how bad yours is, and the kind people switch to English with a smile and dose of humor. I did not try the pastries as arrived pre-stuffed due to the amazing Du Pain et des Idees bakery 50 ft from my apartment’s front door. The cafe latte exuded nice smells and flavors, though could have benefitted from requesting a 2nd shot as it bordered on bland. My wife’s cappuccino was just right and disappeared quickly through sipping and combining with the latte to form a good mixture. Prices are a little high which dissuaded me from adding another croissant to my already expanding embonpoint. There is a large selection of coffee beans as they also operate a roastery, which is a big plus IMO for controlling quality. If like us you enjoy searching for that ideal caffe latte or cappuccino, Radiodays deserves to be on your...
Read moreThe closing of the 11 line meant this supposed-to-be-short commute to breakfast ended up being a 40 minute walk and some quiet snippy exchanges between my non-caffeinated husband and I. All was forgiven, smoothed over, and calmed down the second we walked into Radio Days. I had no idea it was as small as it was but since we arrived in the late morning there were some tables free. The guys working (owning?) were so welcoming and accommodating to us, and especially to our four-year-old. She was thrilled with her slab of (obviously) homemade banana bread and babycino (I shared a similar enthusiasm for the bread, especially when she couldn't finish it!). For me apart from the service, food and beverage, the real draw was the cafe itself - it's so bright and warm and feels spacious even though it does have limited space. This could easily be a work hub for me if we lived in the neighborhood. Totally worth the lengthy walk (and really - it's Paris, so who...
Read moreWhat an absolute beauty of a cafe! Everything from the ambiance to the staff to the delicious coffee was five stars!
Inside its small but intimate and has a really nice summer day feeling to it that would make you want to stay there forever. A friend of ours even picked up the free to play acoustic guitar and started jamming. The staff more than encouraged it as they gently clicked along to his tunes whilst serving up some sensational beans!
Inside there's enough room for about twenty people but there's also benches on facing out on the street.
The staff seem to take pride in what they are doing, I watched them as they swirled the milky mix on to my Cafe Au Lait and then presented it to me as if it were a new born child.
The taste was supreme, enough of a kick off the beans without it being overpowering and the perfect hear to enough straight away!
Bravo Radiodays - next time I'm in Paris I...
