Service is not what you would expect of a restaurant of any kind, let alone one of this caliber. My fiance already posted about this, but our experience was so bad I had to as well. We went to Restaurant Cleo on a trip we took to celebrate our engagement. The atmosphere, greeting, and drinks were lovely, as was the starter - they even brought us an amuse bouch free of charge, which was a lovely touch. Unfortunately when it came to our mains, they brought me the wrong dish. It wasn't a big deal, and I apologized to the waitress and let her know the mix up. Immediately she stopped speaking to me, whisked the dish away and disappeared. For the next 20-30 minutes, no one came to our table or spoke to us. They did however glance in our direction and whisper. We shared my fiances meal, and finally the other correct meal was served. Our original waitress avoided us for the rest of the night, and despite there being more staff than tables in the restaurant the rest of the staff barely paid us any mind either. We could clearly see them chatting to eachother and killing time waiting to serve other tables. We attempted to order more drinks and desert to no avail. The 2nd waitress dropped a menu and never returned. We waited more than 30 minutes and eventually we requested the bill from the busser. Absolutely not worth the €130 ($200 CAD) we dropped for 2 drinks, 1 app and 2 mains. Wildly...

Food and presentation was well done, this was unfortunately overshadowed by poor service. A waitress made a mistake with our order which we understand happens. We politely explained that this wasn’t the dish we ordered. The waitress didn’t respond, took the dish and stopped serving us. A new waitress eventually came by with the dish we ordered and walked away. It took another 15-20 mins before they came back. We asked if we could order a drink and they said they would be back. They dropped the menu after a while and never returned to take our order - in fact after that they didn’t come back at all. We waited 20 minutes until we decided to just get the bill even after we discussed wanting dessert to the waitress. In the end another waiter came back asking if they could take our plates which is when we asked for the bill. We were very disappointed as this was a celebration of our engagement and the service was very poor. I want to explain that the restaurant was not busy and others were getting served while we waited. The waitresses were also standing no more than 10 feet from us chatting and on their phones. We were very polite but as soon as we pointed out that we received the wrong dish it went...

I was looking for a restaurant with healthy and nourishing food, in particular offering vegetables and fish and Google maps recommended Restaurant Cleo. It’s a very nice place located on the premises of a hotel , clean, nicely designed. The waitress was super nice, prompt and she explained everything in details in English about the menu. The food was interesting and tasted good. The mini appetizer was my favorite: sweet mashed potatoes with cumin- well balanced, simple and felt very nutritious. The main appetizer was butternut squash. The main dish was fish with oyster mushrooms. My only complaint which is why I give it 3 star is the fact that there was way too much butter in every dish. You know how they say that of course restaurant food taste good because they put tons of butter on everything? Well in this restaurant you could really see that. I picked out the veggies and fish out of it. I also wish they would have more vegetarian and vegan choices. Regarding prices - they leaned more towards high rather than low. But overall it was a very nice experience, the food I ate was delicious and I do recommend the place if...

Nice atmosphere and ok service. We ordered the 5 course menu and the "wine pairing" (which wasn't really a pairing at all). We first got the obligatory bread, which was VERY good. One of the best ones I have ever gotten in such a restaurant. The starter courses were ok, nothing really memorable. The main courses were good. Value for money is ok, not amazing (we dined in Michelin restaurants in France that were significantly better for the same price). The wine "pairing" was a bit strange though. We could pick 3 out of 4 wines, all from the vineyard of the owner. Each of the wines was also available by glass and getting the "pairing" was actually only by 2-3 Euro cheaper. The wines weren't really a great match to the food (and the waitress' recommendation was along the lines of "white wine is good for starters and fish", aha). So all in all good, but not amazing and maybe a little overpriced for what it is.
