Absolutely amazing! One the best restaurant I've been to in a long time. I don't usually leave restaurant reviews but felt I had to go out of my way to leave a review about Rooster.
We booked for dinner on New Years Eve but was half an hour late due to traffic and the restaurant was so lovely about it, no issue at all.
The restaurant itself is small but has such a nice atmosphere and even nicer staff.
The menu changes depending on what's in season. I ordered the seabass and instantly you could taste how fresh the fish was, my boyfriend ordered the langoustine I'm still craving the taste of it now! I loved the combinations of flavoured that complimented each other beautifully.
One of the best restaurants I've been to for a while, it's a bit on the pricey side but is definitely worth it in terms of the amazing quality, lovely atmosphere and how attentive...

A place recommended by a friend and delighted I visited. A small place but when you enter you can feel they know what they are doing and it’s going to be good. Tasting menu of vegetarian, fish salad, fish and lamb, all very well executed with quality ingredients. The desert was light and very tasty.
The only downside was the wines offered along with the tasting menu. After a glass of House rose champagne served in a riesling Riedel glass, I was full of hope. Champagne was excellent served in the perfect glass and then come the whites in a poor quality cheap glass. All were average cheap wines, wine well selected, some very poorly (Malbec) and most selling retail for the same price a glass was being charged. A few shame the same level of deep thought and execution wasn’t put into the wine as the...

The pairing came with 7 wines. A few of them were nicely aged vintages ('16, '17, '18) and some from regions I hadn't tried (Cyprus). Considering typical French wine prices, the cost ranged from avg $6 or $10 retail to the majority being in the more pricey in the $20-$30 range). Nothing was exceptoinal, but everything was very nicely paired. I'd certainly get the pairing again for a 2.8x markup.
The food itself was delicious. The dessert was a bit underwhelming (lots of chocolate on a plate, without a lot of texture).
The service was exceptional. The atmosphere was perfect for a fancy, but "quick" lunch meal. I'd...
