Round Egg Buns — Restaurant in Paris

Hands down my best burger experience in Paris!

We were walking around the Canal Saint Martin area and found Round Egg Buns by coincidence. Luck was on our side. We found a local gem that has, through word of mouth gathered quite a following. Everyone who came inside while we were eating greeted the owners in a familiar fashion.

Their premise is to serve meatless burgers by replacing the meat with eggs. There is, however, the option of adding a smashed burger patty inside. Having had my fair share of burgers in France, at Round Egg Buns, this is the closest I have come to a traditional good old-fashioned American hamburger.

Don't let the egg fool you. It doesn't overpower the overall taste of the burger and goes very well with all the other ingredients. The buns are made out of potato starch and are much lighter and fluffier than regular "bread" buns. You also have the possibility of making a DIY burger to your taste.

Their fries are home-made and extremely crispy.

I will definitely make this a go-to place every time I come back to Paris.

There is seating capacity for a dozen people inside.

The owners are very friendly and take their time to answer any questions.

The guys were awesome, we felt welcomed and warm the moment we stepped in. Unfortunately, customer service in the 'service' industry has become rare, but it's clear to see the ones that respect the basics are thriving.

We ordered the Cheesy Salmon with chips and the Sunny Smash Supp Bacon. All prepared in front of us, everything was fresh, light and very satisfying.

The environment was chilled and very clean Prices are reasonable and well-matched. Unfortunately, another rarity. Superduper vibes!

Absolutely loved this spot! The guys behind the counter were super cool, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. The vibes inside are spot on — great energy, slick design, and a killer soundtrack playing in the background that really set the mood.

Tried a couple of the egg buns — fresh, tasty, and packed with flavour. The bacon and avocado combo was unreal. You can tell everything’s made with love and attention to detail.
