We came as we were passing by, and I loved the seating area and cosy and busy (but not loud) atmosphere. The aray of cakes and pastries was immense, and everything looked delicious. The pastries and breads are all reasonably priced, especially for the area. We got 3 things - chausson aux pommes, pain au chocolat, and palmier. The palmer was huge and so buttery and delicious with a good snap. The pain au chocolat was different to any I've tried before using a different technique, I prefer the original style, but it was still good. My favourite was the chausson aux pommes, though; it was crunchy and caramelised on the outside, and i loved the chunks of soft spiced apple. Read moreThis is a gem of a bakery/restaurant combination. We had breakfast here twice while in Paris. The food was fresh, of high quality and the service was very good. One of the best croissants I had and they also have some fancy desserts one can try as well. The breakfast was of generous portions as well. Highly recommend the veggie egg breakfast. Just all around a great experience. The server was very busy one morning we were there she even had to bus her own tables but she was efficient and professional despite the stress of a full house to take care of. Would highly recommend this place! If I go back to Paris I will go back to Sain...

Nice atmosphere indoor, if you want to have a coffee (obviously overpriced) it’s not...
