TAKEAWAY via Deliveroo: Truly one of the best tasting Indian cuisines I've eaten in Paris. I read a few disappointed reviews from customers before ordering, but I think they've taken the criticisms well and improved because what I had today was simply amazing. I ordered the vegan combo, which came with a big serving. The dhal palak and katerika colombo each had a punch of spice and was packed with wholesome flavour. It was almost like a hug from a grandma after making your favourite meal. The tandoori chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy unlike some restaurants that serves dried out wrinkled chicken that's been heated up multiple times. Sauces were refreshing and paired well with everything. I'm saving my lamb biryani and cheese naan for tomorrow ;) Food were packaged in recyclable containers plus they even threw in a free small cheese grater. Didn't manage to take photos since I inhaled them almost instantly after the first bite! lol I'll definitely be ordering more and hope to support this restaurant up until I'm able to dine in physically. After such praise, definitely...
Read moreThe food is pretty great even though the available list of food items is lower than expected. Since it’s close by to where I live, I’ve been here quite a few times and I think the dishes are just a little low on the rice quantity but otherwise good. If you want an Indian fix, then look no further! They even have an option to add green chilli to the food so that you can make sure it’s not boring 😂 great find, I’ll be coming back here and hoping that the alcohol is cheaper someday 😊❤️❤️❤️ be warned that it can get a bit loud because it’s always crowded since it has great food! 10/10
Edit: okay, just one pet peeve, I wish they gave us more papad after we order because just two for two people is like a ridiculous amount to eat. I make like just three to eat solo at home for lunch 😂 it’s not a real issue, I just felt like I should mention it in case it comes up in comparison to the opening...
Read moreWe've wanted to try something different, knowing well that the 13th arrondissement of Paris is typically Asian, and we've had a very nice dinner! Tastewise, palak paneer that I have chosen, it reminded me very much of other Indian restaurants where I had tried it. Good choice of vegetarian options, but also from different regions in India. The quality of products was seen on each step: from the grilling of the meat in butter chicken that my partner had, to the taste of gently spiced rice. Order was placed on tablets, which is a huge advantage for bilingual guests (English/French options given). Loved our desserts: kulfi and coconut-almond cream were spot on! Definitely place to visit more often, get the reservation because it fills very quickly for...
