Ambience: 4/5 Service: 5/5 (we will miss you Vou Thi!) Food: 5/5 Hot Sauce: 5/5
As a Certified Obnoxious Américan (who especially loves his meat and seafood), this place was absolutely stellar. Being vegetarian, you aren’t going to find any super-duper umami flavors that you’d otherwise find in asian food (no fish sauce, no meat/seafood stocks). That being said, the place does a fantastic job showcasing the flavor and texture of vegetables, both raw and cooked, while also providing some seriously, seriously, seriously, good Southeast Asian food. The wine selection complements the vegetarian food well. We stayed in Paris for 4 days this time around and ate here twice. That’s all I really need to say.
But be adventurous and ask for the hot sauce. While it is extremely spicy for sure, it’s also extremely fresh and flavorful, and it complements the vegetables so well I found myself adding heaps without a care for the spice level because it was just so fruity and fragrant.
In an area known for its Asian cuisine, this place is it. If you are a vegetarian (or vegan but like if not for health reasons then I don’t care about you) in Paris, you can’t...
Read moreWent back twice for the food during our stay in Paris. They have vegan options available here. First page of the menu has set A and B, both are value for money, portions are generous too.
I loved their set Menu B: Green curry with coconut and rice, it came with two fried spring rolls and vietnamese sweet and sour sauce. The green curry has the right thickness that it supposed to be and it tastes very good and authentic (said at least for an Asian like me living in the Asia)😁👍🏻. We tried their Menu A for Vietnamese pho soup with sesame dry seaweeds, it was delicious too.
On the second visit, we request for a Vegan pad Thai (Note: Pad Thai on the menu contains eggs), a bit pity that the noodles was too hard to chew, the hardness is more like an Italien pasta than a pad thai😅. Tried their Pad See (Chinese Fried Hor fun) which was very tasty and has the 'Wok Hei' aroma. Hibiscus drink was quite interesting to try. Soya drink was good too, can be better if they can offer for soya without sugar or less sweet in the menu.
Overall, happy to have found this vegetarian place in Paris and is highly...
Read moreDon't go here. Once you've tried some of the dishes, you'll wonder if they all taste as good and you'll have to keep coming back until you've finished the whole menu. It will take up all your time and you won't see any other places in Paris. Seriously, we did actually come back for more. It was absolutely delicious. A mix of fragment Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese and Cambodian dishes - all of them vegetarian which no meat eater would ever notice. You will not regret this, take my word for it. Great plus: the street is now a pedestrian area, so...
