Jules — Restaurant in Paris

Wherever we passed by cafe Jules it was most of the times nearly full. Could be the fact that it's next to a metro station, and in a not so full of restaurants and cafes area. We decided to go there one afternoon to have some desserts. We ordered a crepe with Nutella and pancakes with... (Tadam!) Nutella! They were both perfect! Very soft, buttery soft, very tasty and as sweet as they should be. We wouldn't mind having a little more hot Nutella sauce available, but it was already enough (for most people out there at least). The service was good, the personnel was very friendly, spoke English and treated us well and served us fast. Forgot to mention that whenever we passed we smelled something with chicken and lemon sauce possibly that from the odor itself felt that it would be very tasty! I'd give it a try if I was...

I looked at this place from outside and got instantly attracted to it, although it sits next two other places and other restaurants in the area. As soon as I walked, I was by myself, I loved this table that was set for one person. The atmosphere was great and the staff were extremely welcoming and professional. I started with a glass of white one, a Camembert appetizer that I suggest to be shared, but who cares, I ate the whole thing; delicious. Then decided to have the steak with a Bordeaux carafe. The steak was great and had thyme burning on the top of it. New to me my eyes, but it was nice and cooked to perfection. I never come again! We ordered 2 pancakes: chocolate noir et Notella with strawberry and banana, they confirmed to their waiter that they have the strawberry but then our order came without strawberry and Although the waiter was polite, he said the kitchen told him that the strawberry is available but now they checked and it’s not which was not acceptable at all but I felt that I cannot reject the prepared order.

On the other hand, my friend didn’t want to have sugar that’s why she ordered dark chocolate but they poured sugar on top of the very small amount of chocolate which made my friend really irritated and furious.
