Tycoz is located on one of my favorite streets in Paris, and we were lucky to get a table outside thanks to the nice weather.
The oysters were the highlight! We ordered the No. 5, and my friends couldn’t get enough incredibly fresh and flavorful. I also tried the sardines, which are served in a can. They were fine, nothing special.
We then ordered galettes. I had the complète and really enjoyed it the caramelized onions add a nice touch. I’d give it an 8/10, especially since I often make galettes at home that are just as good.
We tried tried the chèvre one but found it underwhelming compared to the complète. In general, I think galettes are best when kept simple. My friends tried the salmon one and enjoyed it too.
For dessert, we shared a lemon crêpe (9/10) which was delicious, and some ice cream. I didn’t love my coffee ice cream it was a bit icy inside but the iced Americano I had was refreshing.
