We stumbled upon this place as we were hungrily searching the streets for a new place to eat (we = 2 adults and their child). Must admit that at first impression I almost skipped the place because I thought it was a bar. But I am so glad my wife convinced me to give it a go.
Food = Excellent! The menu screams authenticity and the food we had competes favourably with high-end Mexican restaurants we knew in London. I personally had a dish with Mole Negro sauce, which was absolutely fantastic. No food was left on the plates, I can guarantee that.
Staff = Excellent! We worked through my disastrous French skills, through a mixture of French, English, Spanish and Italian, with the three ladies in charge all helping to make sure we were all understanding each other. Truly a friendly, relaxed atmosphere that put everyone at ease.
The prices are on par with what you would expect to pay for the area, but no one left the place hungry. And I could enjoy Dos Equis beer instead of the ubiquitous Heineken, so really can't and won't complain!
In summary: if in the mood for some delicious Mexican food with a chill and fun atmosphere, and can't fly from Paris to Oaxaca, come...

We had more than we could eat and still I ordered dessert to go. Only recommendation is TAMALES TODOS LOS DIAS por favor 🤣 Anyway, this...
