We got locked out of the hotel at 2 a.m and received no apologies, only rudeness. We were given the code for the outside door and the code for the lockbox with the apartment key inside, as well as a link to a video with instructions on how to open it.
We already knew how to open it because we own the same lockbox. To our surprise, the code for the lockbox was incorrect. We attempted several times to open it, but it wasn’t working. After considering booking another hotel for the night, we decided to call the host. After all, we payed for a service that was not being provided.
Understandably, the host was very rude after being woken up at 2 a.m. She kept insisting that we didn’t watch the video and didn’t know how to open the lock box. After a lot of back and forth, she gave us the code to another apartment. We opened its lock box and went to sleep.
The next day, we expected at least an apology for the inconvenience, but received nothing. I understand that being woken up is not nice, but it wasn’t our fault. For future guests, it would be wise to test the lock box and see if it’s working properly. When we left on the morning, we saw a guy attempting to open it with a couple tools but he was not succeeding either.

No welcome. On a very noisy floor. The table was broken, the sofa bed (no bedroom which I had paid for) was dirty and there were craters on the wall. I tried to contact the host and they ignored me all evening (they were online and reading messages). Not great. I would have been happy to have had a chat, received an explanation and have full reassurance that we could fix the issue in the morning.
I was told the next day was that my room was already sold to someone else, even though I had made the booking month's in advance. They did apologise and offered 50% off to stay or for me to leave with a refund. Luckily I had a second option with a fantastic apartment I rented over the Summer, so I left and eventually recieved my refund. Some people will not be this lucky. Be careful with this company and double check that you get what you pay for. There is also no lift in the building available for any big families or anyone not travelling lightly.

The flat itself was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay.
