You order at the counter and the food will be heated up in microwave (at least that was the case in the evening). The food is very good and the size of portion is great as well. You can choose between various chicken (Korma, Butter, Tikka, Hot&spicy), vegetables and two types of rice as a base, and some toppings. The raita was rather sweet which for me was unusual, but overall the taste was good. And all that for ~11€ per Bowl.

We have tried Indian food in Paris before and it has never been good, but this place was so great! It’s a great concept to create your own bowl. Great portion size too and authentic taste. Highly recommend the Hot and Spicy chicken, the Chana masala and raita. We met the owner who is extremely knowledgeable, excellent and passionate. We’ll be back when we visit.

The best go to place in paris if you are looking for authentic indian bowl to try … The best mango lassi ( maison home made with fresh mango and turkish yoghurt ) . this won’t make you feel heavy after consumption. And i tried their protein bowl with one base as rice and two legumes . it’s amazing and highly recommend if you are living in paris

Very excellent Indian food! Lots of selection. The spicy options are actually spicy, the mild options are actually mild. Everything was delicious, right down the rice base. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is cozy and good for either a quick eat-and-go scenario or a hangout with a friend.

I was in the area for a concert at Grand Rex (from america, knowing little French language) and smelled the yummy food from outside. Indian food is my favorite so I decided to check it out and grab a bowl to-go; intended to eat outside while hanging around the venue waiting for the doors to open. The owner of the restaurant and I were chatting (he was very kind to chat with me in English and he gave me reassurance about my anxiety over speaking broken French in a French region). He dispelled my plans about eating outside lol, invited me to eat in the restaurant so I wouldn’t get cold outside and didn’t mind me bolting shortly after to make my gig. I’m glad I did, because between the really good food, the cozy atmosphere, and chitchatting with the owner about traveling, lifepaths, etc, it made my night better. Was a genuine human experience and not just a grab...

We came to Curry Bowl about two weeks ago, while looking for an Indian lunch place. Our party contained two elderly Indians, who very much wanted to ‘eat like at home’. And that is exactly what we found at Joseph’s place! A carefully assembled selection of home-made curries and accompaniments, clearly made with love and attention for the cuisine. He was very accommodating in catering to the wishes of our parents - bit more rice here, leaving off items they did not care for there.

Of all the Indian places we tried in Paris, this was the only one we would have come back to if we had more time! Joseph’s Curry Bowl is a keeper and we will happily pop by again next time we...

If I could give service 6 stars, I would. Came in with my wife and son. She and I love these flavors, my son less so. The person on staff (and maybe owner?) was incredibly kind and understanding, helping him find food he liked, adjusting portions, and letting him sample numerous items to see if he could find something new and interesting to him and also avoid food waste. He was even willing to make an omelette just for him! That's great service. To add to this great service, the food was really tasty, healthy, well seasoned, and nicely portioned for the price. We'll seek it back out next time...
