Zinzin — Restaurant in Paris

I never write reviews but this place is the absolute bomb and I don't want anyone else to miss it! I got the Tunisien and to call it a tuna salad sandwich seems a huge disservice and yet, that's what it is, if a tuna salad sandwich was made in heaven! Good quality tuna, mayo, egg slices, crunchy pickles, harissa, potato, lemoniness on just the right amount of fluffy, pita-looking bread...I'm sort of guessing since the menu was in French and I understood just enough to make the order. The layer of harissa (god, I hope that's what it really is!) is such an amazing addition to a tuna sandwich, I have to try this at home. I also got the gazpacho vert which tasted like cucumber and lots of other fresh delicious things with hazelnuts and dukkah. Also, awesome. Last, I got the apple rhubarb crumble which has all the same ingredients as at home but the ratio is totally flipped - like an applesauce with some rhubarb chunks and crumble thrown in. Good, but not as amazing as the other two items. Wish I'd tried the the cookies too. Would love to go...

Finally a proper place where you can get a decent sandwich (which is quite rare in the area)! Linked to their restaurant (Gargouille) few houses up the street. Fantastic neighborhood sandwich spot. Super flavor packed, well-made, absolutely delicious sandwiches. The bread is somewhere between a pita and a focaccia. Loved the pesto and filling in my L’Italien, and my veggie wife gobbled up her falafel.
